Angels announce ALDS roster
The Angels have announced their 25-man roster for their ALDS matchup with the Royals.

The Angels are back in the postseason for the first time since 2009. They open their ALDS matchup at home against the Royals on Thursday night. The game is scheduled to begin at 9:30pm ET and will be broadcast on TBS.

Manager Mike Scioscia already announced Jered Weaver, his Game 1 starter, will start Game 4 on short rest, if necessary. Matt Shoemaker and C.J. Wilson will start Games 2 and 3. Shoemaker would then start a potential Game 5 on normal rest.
