The feel-good story over the weekend came from the Indians, as Carlos Santana and Jason Kipnis promised to each hit a home run for a kid with cerebral palsy and then came through -- making good on the respective promises.

I didn't include this video in the post, because it felt like the moment needed to stand alone. I did, however, immediately think back to Yankees right fielder Paul O'Neill's appearance on the sitcom Seinfeld.

Here it is:

As fans of the show remember, O'Neill actually ended up hitting a home run and then later appeared to come home for an inside-the-park homer, only to be ruled a triple and an error -- preventing Cosmo Kramer from appeasing an ailing child and getting a birthday card back from him.
