Aaron Rodgers shows off arm with absurd 40-yard throw into tiny basket
No one throws a better deep ball than Aaron Rodgers
During the 2015 season, you could argue that the most successful play in the Packers' offensive playbook was the Hail Mary. Thanks to Aaron Rodgers' pinpoint accuracy, the Packers connected on a Hail Mary in two different games last season.
If it turns out that the Packers need to call another Hail Mary or two in 2016, that shouldn't be a problem, because based on the footage below, it looks like Rodgers' arm is in good shape. During the Packers' practice at Lambeau Field on Sunday, Rodgers threw a 40-yard bomb into a tiny basket.
It doesn't get much more accurate than that.
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Should the Packers just call a Hail Mary on every play?"
Well, after watching that footage, I'm not saying they shouldn't.
This wasn't a lucky throw, either.
Rodgers has made it an annual tradition to throw a 40- or 50-yard bomb into a tiny basket.
He did it in 2015.
And 2013.
