Mark Glowinski: Exit becomes official
Glowinski was released by the Giants on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported Saturday that Glowinski was expected to be released, and the news now becomes official. The Giants will save $5.7 million in cap space with the move and will be looking for a new starter at right guard this offseason. The 31-year-old had spent the last two seasons in New York and had one year left on his deal.

Giants' Mark Glowinski: Likely to be let go
Glowinski is expected to be released by the Giants on Saturday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The move will save the Giants $5.7 million in cap space. It's a bit of a curious decision given the team already projects to have over $30 million in cap space entering the offseason and Glowinski was rated as the team's best offensive lineman by PFF, but the 31-year-old hardly played up the standard many hoped after he signed a three-year, $20 million deal in 2022. Expect the Giants to retool almost every level of an offense that finished fourth worst in yards per game last year.

Giants' Mark Glowinski: Appears set to return Week 11
Glowinski (personal) was not listed on the Giants' practice report Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Glowinski missed Sunday's Week 10 loss to Dallas while he dealt with a personal matter, but he appears in line to return this Sunday against Washington. The veteran guard will provide depth for a New York offensive line that has struggled with both health and performance this season.

Giants' Mark Glowinski: Won't play Week 10
Glowinski (personal) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
With Glowinski out, the Giants will likely go with Ben Bredeson and Justin Pugh at right and left guard, respectively, which is what the team did Week 9 against the Raiders. Glowinski did not participate in practice leading up to the Week 10 contest.
