  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Sees limited touches in 2021

Clement finished the regular season with 33 carries for 140 rushing yards and six catches on seven targets for 29 yards and a touchdown.

While he suited up for all 17 games in his first season with Dallas, Clement was mainly used on special teams and saw double-digit snaps on offense only three times. He was able to score his only TD against his former club the Eagles in Week 18, however. A free agent in the offseason, Clement could return to the Cowboys but will fill a depth role in the backfield wherever he ends up in 2022.

  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Scores versus Eagles

Clement rushed seven times for 58 yards and caught all four of his targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 51-26 win over the Eagles.

Clement enjoyed an expanded role with Tony Pollard (foot) unavailable. Although starter Ezekiel Elliott led the Cowboys with 19 touches, Clement made an impressive impact with his 11, totaling a season-high 80 yards while scoring for the first time with an eight-yard reception to begin the fourth quarter. Despite Pollard potentially being set to return for next weekend's playoff game, Clement's performance Saturday emphasizes Dallas' depth at tailback heading into the postseason.

  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Poised for bigger workload Week 18

Clement may be in line for more work alongside Ezekiel Elliott on Saturday at Philadelphia with Tony Pollard (foot) unavailable for the contest, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Pollard logged limited practices during Week 18 prep and was given a questionable tag on Thursday's injury report. However, the Cowboys ruled him out Friday, giving him a week of rest ahead of the postseason. Clement hasn't had many chances to produce behind Elliott and Pollard this season, as he's averaged 3.2 yards on his 26 carries and posted two catches (on three targets) for seven yards in 16 games. Still, when he stepped in as the No. 2 RB for Pollard in Week 13 at Washington, he turned 14 touches into 46 total yards.

  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Handles four carries in win

Clement carried the ball four times for 18 yards in Sunday's 56-14 win over Washington.

Clement played on just seven of the Cowboys' 73 offensive snaps in the contest. The veteran's biggest play, however, came on specials teams when he blocked a punt that was recovered for a Dallas touchdown. Corey Clement should continue to operate as the team's No. 3 back behind Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard going forward, limiting his ability to produce for fantasy purposes.

  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Should retain small role Week 15

Clement is expected to play some snaps on offense Sunday against the Giants while serving as the No. 3 back behind Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard (foot), Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Clement elevated to the No. 2 role for last week's win over Washington while Pollard sat out with a torn plantar fascia in his left foot, finishing the day with 13 carries for 44 yards to go with one two-yard reception. Though Clement hasn't typically had a role in the game plan when both Elliott and Pollard are active, since the latter two have been nursing injuries of late, the Wisconsin product looks like he'll get a couple reps in an effort to lessen their workloads. Clement is still unlikely to see enough touches to make for a reliable fantasy option, even in most deeper leagues.

  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Solid numbers as No. 2 back

Clement carried the ball 13 times for 44 yards and caught one of two targets for two yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over Washington.

With Tony Pollard (foot) sidelined, Clement stepped in as Dallas' No. 2 running back and actually saw one more touch than Ezekiel Elliott, but neither RB was efficient. It's not yet clear if Pollard will be ready to return Week 15 against the Giants, so Clement again could find himself with a fairly substantial role in the offense.

  • Cowboys' Corey Clement: Sees action late in blowout

Clement carried the ball six times for 20 yards and caught his only target for five yards in Sunday's 43-3 win over the Falcons.

It was the most work the former Eagle has seen in a game yet for the Cowboys, but Clement's touches came in the fourth quarter of a blowout win. As long as Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard are healthy, Clement's primary value to Dallas will come on special teams.
