  • Giants' Adoree' Jackson: Will play Sunday

Jackson (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's game against the Bears, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Jackson was considered questionable due to the quad issue after being activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, and he'll be back on the field for New York in Week 17. The 26-year-old hasn't seen the field since suffering the injury Week 12 against Philadelphia, and the bout with COVID likely slowed his recovery.

  • Giants' Adoree' Jackson: Limited Thursday

Jackson (quadriceps) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice session, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Jackson was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday but has been limited for each of the first two days of practice ahead of Week 17. If he hopes to avoid the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears, he'll likely need to practice in a full capacity Friday.

  • Giants' Adoree' Jackson: Activated from COVID-19 list

The Giants activated Jackson (illness/quadriceps) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Jackson tested positive for COVID-19 last week and was expected to miss at least 10 days since he's unvaccinated, but he'll be cleared to return to practice Wednesday as a result of the NFL's updated rules for unvaccinated players. The 26-year-old dealt with a quadriceps injury prior to testing positive for COVID-19, and it's not yet clear whether the issue will impact his availability for Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • Giants' Adoree' Jackson: Tests positive for COVID-19

Jackson (quadriceps) tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Since Jackson is unvaccinated, he'll need to spend at least 10 days away from the team, meaning that he'll be unavailable for Week 15. Since he had been battling a quadriceps injury and won't be able to rejoin the Giants until Dec. 25, his status for the team's Week 16 matchup against the Eagles also appears to be in jeopardy. Since Aaron Robinson (illness) is also on the reserve/COVID-19 list, James Bradberry and Keion Crossen are in line to serve as the primary cornerbacks Sunday against Dallas.
