  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Clear for Sunday

Lazard (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Green Bay had scant attendance from four of its top five wide receivers this week, but Lazard is good to go for Sunday after logging limited sessions Wednesday and Friday. Meanwhile, Sammy Watkins (hamstring) has been ruled out, while Randall Cobb (illness) and Christian Watson (hamstring) are listed as questionable. As such, Lazard should serve as the team's clear-cut top option at the position, while rookie Romeo Doubs could line up as the No. 2 if Cobb and/or Watson are limited or out.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Back at practice

Lazard (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

As did Christian Watson (hamstring), which gives both wideouts a chance to play Sunday against the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Sammy Watkins (hamstring) and Randall Cobb (illness) were not spotted at practice Friday, with the Packers' looming Week 3 injury report likely to add some clarity with regard to the composition of the team's wide receiver corps this weekend.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Not practicing Thursday

Lazard (ankle) didn't practice Thursday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Lazard was limited during Wednesday's practice, with Silverstein indicating that it's possible the wideout's non-participation Thursday could be maintenance-related. Friday's injury report should add some clarity to Lazard's status for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers as well the Week 3 playing prospects of fellow receivers Sammy Watkins (hamstring), Randall Cobb (illness) and Christian Watson (hamstring).

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Limited by ankle injury

Lazard (ankle) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

After sitting out Week 1 with an ankle injury, Lazard returned this past Sunday against the Bears and paced Packers wide receivers in offensive snap share (80 percent). He managed just a 2-13-1 receiving line on three targets, however, and he unsurprisingly is having his practice reps capped to kick off Week 3 prep. He'll likely need to upgrade to full activity Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying a designation into Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Finds end zone in season debut

Lazard (ankle) caught two of three targets for 13 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Bears.

Green Bay's entire offense looked much sharper after mustering just seven points in Week 1, and Lazard's return from an ankle injury contributed to that improvement. Aaron Rodgers spread the ball around, as no Packer got more than four targets, but Lazard made the most of his limited opportunities by catching a five-yard touchdown in the final minute of the first half. Lazard could still emerge as the clear top option in Green Bay's passing game, but as things stand heading into a Week 3 clash with the Buccaneers, no one has taken over as Rodgers' go-to guy since Davante Adams' departure.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Returning to action in Week 2

Lazard (ankle) is active for Sunday's contest versus the Bears, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Lazard sat out the Packers' season-opening loss at Minnesota after getting stepped on in practice between the end of the preseason and the beginning of Week 1 prep. He was able to return to practice in a limited capacity in advance of Week 2 action, even mixing into team drills at Friday's session. The preceding seemingly set Lazard up to be available Sunday, and indeed he is. He'll serve as Green Bay's top wide receiver moving forward, but even with Davante Adams out of town, it's unclear if Lazard will be able to attain weekly viability.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Expected to be available Sunday

Lazard (ankle), who is listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against the Bears, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Lazard tweaked his ankle during the final weeks leading up to the regular season and was sidelined for Week 1, but he returned to limited practices this week and is expected to make his season debut against the Bears. However, nothing is official yet, which makes things difficult for fantasy managers who have to wait until the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff for final confirmation. Assuming Lazard is available, he could be just the spark that Green Bay's offense needs after a sluggish start during the season-opening loss to the Vikings.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Ready for team reps

Lazard (ankle) is scheduled to take team reps at Friday's practice, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Lazard returned to a limited practice Wednesday after missing a couple weeks, then managed another limited session Thursday. It could be more of the same Friday, though it sounds like the Packers are upping his activity level as they prepare for a matchup with the Bears on Sunday.

  • Packers' Allen Lazard: Questionable to face Bears

Lazard (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Rob Demovsky of reports.

Lazard was limited for a third straight day at Friday's practice, never quite progressing to full. He thus may need to be treated as a game-time decision, in which case the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff is suboptimal for fantasy managers. With Lazard out Week 1, the Packers had four wide receivers (Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson, Randall Cobb, Romeo Doubs) land between a 57 and 67 percent snap share and 3-5 targets, which isn't exactly a rotation that's conducive to short-term fantasy value. Once he's available, Lazard will be the favorite to lead the group in snaps and targets.
