K.J. Osborn: Joins Atlanta's practice squad
The Falcons signed Osborn to the practice squad Monday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Osborn spent time with the Commanders during the offseason, but he wasn't able to earn a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster. Now, he'll provide Atlanta with emergency depth at wide receiver while star wideout Drake London (knee) works his way back from a PCL sprain.

K.J. Osborn: Cut by Washington
Osborn was released by the Commanders on Tuesday, Zach Selby of the team's official website reports.
Osborn will hit free agency after compiling five receptions for 35 yards while appearing in all three preseason games with Washington. The wide receiver played in eight regular-season contests with the Patriots and Commanders in 2024, catching seven of 18 targets for 57 yards and a touchdown. Osborn will likely find another opportunity in the near future.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Returns to Washington
Osborn re-signed with the Commanders on a one-year contract Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Osborn only suited up for one regular-season game upon being claimed off waivers by Washington in December, remaining a healthy scratch throughout the playoffs. The veteran wideout will now look to make the most of a full offseason to pick up the team's offensive scheme, with the goal of earning a consistent depth role during the 2025 season.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Finishes season with 57 yards
Osborn made just one appearance after joining the Commanders in December, finishing the regular season with seven catches for 57 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets.
All of his production came with the Patriots, for whom he played 62 to 75 percent of snaps in each of the first four games of the season. Osborn's role declined drastically in October, and the Patriots waived him Dec. 10 after a series of healthy scratches. He'll turn 28 in June and is scheduled for unrestricted free agency this offseason, with minimal chance to get significant guaranteed money on his next contract.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Healthy scratch vs. Detroit
Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against the Lions, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Osborn was also a healthy inactive for last weekend's wild-card win over Tampa Bay. The veteran wideout has played just once since being claimed off waivers by the Commanders on Dec.11. Washington's wideout corps against Detroit will consist of Terry McLaurin, Olamide Zaccheaus, Dyami Brown, Jamison Crowder and Luke McCaffrey.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Inactive Sunday
Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday night's wild-card game versus Tampa Bay.
Osborn will take a seat in the first round of the playoffs and his absence won't have much of an offensive impact on Washington. The Commanders will lean on the likes of Terry McLaurin and Olamide Zaccheaus at wide receiver against the Buccaneers.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Ready to face Tampa Bay
Osborn (illness) is not listed on Wednesday's injury report.
Osborn missed Washington's Week 18 win over the Cowboys due to an illness, but he's returned to full health as the Commanders begin prepping for Sunday's wild-card matchup at Tampa Bay. The veteran wideout joined the Commanders in mid-December but has made just one appearance, which came in Week 17 versus Atlanta. He played 18 offensive snaps and wasn't targeted in that contest.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Not able to suit up in Week 18
Osborn (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game against Dallas, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Osborn appeared on the team's injury report due to an illness Friday, and the ailment is going to sideline the veteran wideout for Washington's regular-season finale. His absence isn't likely to have a significant impact in fantasy, as Osborn was a healthy scratch two straight weeks after joining the Commanders in mid-December before logging 18 offensive snaps last Sunday against Atlanta and coming away with no targets. Luke McCaffrey could see a few more opportunities in the passing game with Osborn out Sunday.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Questionable for Week 18
Osborn (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Claimed off waivers from New England on Dec. 11, Osborn played 19 offensive snaps last Sunday night against the Falcons but wasn't targeted in the passing game. It was his first action with the Commanders after being deemed inactive for Weeks 15 and 16. Osborn has little to no fantasy value for Sunday's regular-season finale should he be cleared to play.

Commanders' K.J. Osborn: Inactive again Week 16
Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Eagles.
Osborn will be a healthy scratch for the second straight week after Washington claimed him off waivers Dec. 11. Though the Commanders placed Noah Brown (kidney) on IR shortly after picking up Osborn, it appears that the latter isn't high enough on the wideout depth chart to be called upon for gameday. Terry McLaurin, Dyami Brown, Olamide Zaccheaus, Jamison Crowder and Luke McCaffrey will make up the team's wide-receiver room Sunday.
