Peart started at left guard Sunday against the Jets after the Broncos placed starter Ben Powers (biceps) on injured reserve Saturday. Denver will now be down to its third-stringer at the position. Peart signed a one-year contract with the Broncos on Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
Peart spent the first four seasons of his career with the Giants after being selected in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. However, the 26-year-old has mostly operated in a reserve role, starting just seven games for the Giants during that time. He'll likely be a depth option at tackle for Denver in 2024.

Peart will now be able to practice with the team and should return to action before the season comes to a close. He'll be eligible to play once he is returned to the 53-man roster, which could happen as soon as Monday against the Eagles.
