  • Giants' Isaiah Likely: Good to go for Week 5

Likely (knee/groin) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game at Washington, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

With limited practices Wednesday and Thursday, Likely was upgraded to full Friday and is all systems go for Sunday's divisional matchup. He's coming off a season-high 12 targets in last Sunday's win over the Cardinals and has 22 catches for 190 yards and two touchdowns on 35 targets through four games as a TE1 in fantasy.

  • Giants' Isaiah Likely: Another limited practice

Likely (knee/groin) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Likely maintained his activity level from Wednesday's session as he deals with knee and groin injuries. There's been nothing to suggest that he's in danger of missing Sunday's game at Washington, but he still may be tagged with a designation on the Giants' final practice report of the week Friday.

  • Giants' Isaiah Likely: Limited Wednesday

Likely (knee/groin) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Likely is tending to a pair of health concerns as Week 5 prep begins, but he at least has two more chances to get back to full this week and avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's game at Washington. Through four contests this season, he's been a key cog in the Giants' passing game, totaling 22 catches (on 35 targets) for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Giants' Isaiah Likely: Team-high seven grabs in win over Cards

Likely caught seven of 12 targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 36-24 win over Arizona.

The targets and catches led the Giants on the day, but Likely's yardage total was well behind Malik Nabers' 112. Likely has remained an important part of the passing game with Jameis Winston under center instead of Jaxson Dart (knee), and in Winston's three appearances (two starts) the tight end has delivered a 14-112-0 line on 27 targets, seeing double-digit looks twice. Likely will look to find the end zone for the first time since the season opener in a Week 5 road clash with the Commanders.

  • Giants' Isaiah Likely: Only two catches vs. Tennessee

Likely caught two of five targets for 13 yards during the Giants' 12-7 win over the Titans on Sunday.

After logging 13 catches through the first two games of the regular season, Likely was held to only two receptions in Week 3, the first game with Jameis Winston as the starter instead of Jaxson Dart (knee, IR). Likely's five targets were second-most on the Giants behind Malik Nabers (six), but the scoring floors of all Giants pass catchers figure to be lower with Winston under center. That said, New York could turn the keys over to the recently acquired J.J. McCarthy if Winston continues to underwhelm. The Giants will stay home for Week 4 against the Cardinals, whose defense gave up a 6-82-2 receiving line to tight end George Kittle in a 36-30 loss to the 49ers in Week 3.

  • Giants' Isaiah Likely: Solid despite Dart injury

Likely secured five of 10 targets for 33 yards in the Giants' 28-6 loss to the Rams on Monday night.

Likely's first catch came on one of Jaxson Dart's three completions before he exited the game with a knee injury, and the veteran tight end remained an integral component of the air attack once Jameis Winston took over. Likely's reception and target totals were team-high figures, and he's quickly generated a 13-111-2 line on 18 targets over his first two games in a Giants uniform heading into a Week 3 home matchup against the Titans on Sunday.
