  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Team-high 10 tackles in win

McCreary recorded 10 tackles (nine solo) and one pass defense during Sunday's 24-22 win over the Raiders.

McCreary led the team in tackles for a second straight game and has totaled 23 stops through the first three games of the season. The rookie second-round pick has played nearly every defensive snap for the Titans thus far, so he figures to continue putting up big numbers early in his career as long as he can stay healthy.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Team-high 11 tackles in loss

McCreary recorded 11 solo tackles during Monday's loss to the Bills.

The rookie has played nearly every defensive snap through two games but was way more productive in Week 2 than he was in his NFL debut. McCreary has 13 tackles through two games and will look to continue his strong play against the Raiders on Sunday.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Impressing in first camp

McCreary has held his own while working against the first-team offense in training camp, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

McCreary was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft and has immediately matched up against fellow rookie Treylon Burks as well as Nick Westbrook-Ikhine in training camp. As can be expected, his performance hasn't been perfect, but he's impressed his teammates by regularly breaking up passes. That was particularly true Monday, which was Tennessee's first full day in pads. Elijah Molden (leg) has been absent from practice for the past two days with an undisclosed injury, which has pushed McCreary into a more significant role.

  • Titans' Roger McCreary: Lands in Tennessee

The Titans selected McCreary in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 35th overall.

McCreary is a tough, physical corner out of Auburn who went ahead of several corners that were projected to go higher than him. The Auburn Tiger projects as a nickel corner given his physical tools (5-foot-11, 29.5-inch arms, 4.50 40-yard dash), but McCreary's technique and route recognition is impressive. He broke up an SEC-high 16 passes as a senior and gives Tennessee an interesting young group of corners that also features Caleb Farley and Kristian Fulton.
