Giants' Eric Gray: No snaps in Week 15
Gray was active but didn't play a snap on offense or special teams in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Commanders.
Since being activated from the reserve/PUP list in Week 12, Gray has suited up for each of the Giants' ensuing three games, but Sunday marked the first time that he had failed to receive any playing time. Gray hadn't seen any work out of the backfield but appeared on special teams in both of the previous two contests, bringing back two kickoffs for 41 yards.

Gray was activated off the Giants' reserve/PUP list Saturday, and the third-year running back has been cleared to make his 2025 regular-season debut Sunday. He will serve as the team's RB3 behind Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary.

Gray was able to practice in full all week. This activation was the last step in the 26-year-old's ability to suit up for the Giants' Week 12 matchup versus the Lions. Interim head coach Mike Kafka confirmed that Gray (knee) will be designated to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
The third-year pro from Oklahoma has missed all 11 of the Giants' games this season after tearing his MCL in the spring, but it now appears that he's nearing a return. Gray now has 21 days to be added to New York's active roster before reverting to the reserve/PUP list. Once fully healthy, he could see touches in a crowded Giants' backfield, especially with Cam Skattebo (ankle) sidelined for the remainder of the season.
