  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Little with four catches Sunday

Warren secured four of 10 targets for 18 yards in the Colts' 42-7 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.

Warren tied for the team lead in receptions and set the pace in targets on another forgettable afternoon for the Colts, one where Indianapolis dropped to 2-6 on the season and Daniel Jones was benched late. With rumors swirling both Josh Downs and Jonathan Taylor could be traded by the Nov. 10 deadline, Warren could be the biggest skill-position weapon the Colts have during the second half of the season alongside Alec Pierce (IR, heel). Warren's catch and yardage totals Sunday were both his second lowest of the season, and it remains to be seen if he'll be catching passes from either Jones or Anthony Richardson in a Week 9 home matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Will play Sunday

Warren (groin) is good to go for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Mike Chappell of FOX59 reports.

Warren missed the past two games after suffering a groin injury during practice. The Colts have lost some talent since then, but they still have their key playmakers at the skill positions, apart from wideout Alec Pierce (IR - heel). Warren should see plenty of work Sunday if he stays healthy.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Limited again Thursday

Warren (groin) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice.

Warren has now logged limited practices on back-to-back days after missing the last two games, a positive sign for his progress ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Despite the two-game absence, Warren still leads the Colts with 30 catches and is second on the team behind Jonathan Taylor with three total touchdowns in five appearances. Warren would likely need to log a full practice Friday to avoid an injury designation.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Returns in limited fashion Wednesday

Warren (groin) returned to practice as a limited participant Wednesday.

This is a good sign for Warren, who has missed the last two games and did not practice at all leading up to Week 7. The Colts kept him limited in his return Wednesday, but he could ramp up as the week progresses. Indianapolis takes on Jacksonville in Week 8.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Ruled out for Sunday's game

Warren (groin) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, FOX59's Mike Chappell reports.

After missing practice throughout the week, Warren will sit out a second straight game. Will Mallory figures to take over as the team's top pass catcher at tight end, with Mo Alie-Cox and Drew Ogletree also having roles.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Remains out of practice Friday

Warren (groin) was not practicing Friday, Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star reports.

With Warren now absent from practice again Friday after also missing the Colts' first two sessions of the week, his status for Sunday's game against the Vikings is in serious doubt. If he isn't available, Indianapolis would again be left to lean on Keenan Allen and Josh Downs in the passing game, while Will Mallory, Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree and Pharaoh Brown would likely all see snaps at tight end.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Absence confirmed Thursday

Warren (groin) did not practice Thursday.

Warren has missed the Colts' first two practices leading up to Sunday's game against the Vikings after sitting out the Week 6 loss to Tennessee. He seems to have sustained his groin injury last Friday, when he was a late addition to the Week 6 injury report. Warren probably needs to practice in some capacity Friday to avoid being ruled out when the Colts reveal their Week 7 injury designations.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Not spotted Thursday

Warren (groin) was not present for Thursday's practice, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.

Warren looks to be sitting out a second consecutive practice due to a groin injury, which also kept him out of the Colts' loss to the Titans this past Sunday. Will Mallory drew six targets in Warren's absence, and Mallory could continue to play an elevated role Sunday against the Vikings if Warren is ruled out. Warren will have one more chance to practice in some capacity Friday.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Does not practice Wednesday

Warren (groin) did not practice Wednesday.

A groin injury cropped up for Warren on Friday going into Week 6, and it prevented him from suiting up against the Titans. He was unable to practice Wednesday, which puts his practice participation firmly on the radar for the remainder of the week. If he's unable to go Sunday, Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory would take most of the tight end reps.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Absent from first Week 7 practice

Warren (groin) wasn't spotted on the field for the open portion of Wednesday's practice, Jake Arthur of Roundtable.io reports.

A limited participant last Friday in the Colts' final Week 6 session on account of the groin injury, Warren was viewed as game-time decision before ultimately sitting out Sunday's loss to the Titans. His lack of involvement in practice to kick off Week 7 prep isn't a promising early sign for his prospects of suiting up this Sunday in Minnesota, but Warren will still have two more days to potentially log some on-field reps before the Colts decide on his status for the contest.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Won't play against Tennessee

Warren (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Warren was labelled as a game-time decision for Sunday's AFC South tilt after the second-year tight end popped up on Friday's injury report due to a lingering groin injury from training camp. Warren has seen at least seven targets in three of his last four games, and those opportunities will be absorbed by tight ends Mo Alie-Cox and Will Mallory, as well as wide receivers Josh Downs and Keenan Allen.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Deemed game-time decision

Warren (groin) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the Titans, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Warren was added to the Colts' Week 6 practice report Friday as limited by a groin injury, which left him questionable for Sunday's matchup. Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reported afterward that Warren grimaced at one point after a red-zone rep at Friday's session, which seemingly is the cause for concern. Ultimately, a pregame workout will determine Warren's availability, or lack thereof, about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Added to injury report, questionable

Warren (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans after being added to the practice report Friday as a limited participant.

Warren dealt with a groin injury in August, so this could be a recurrence rather than a new issue. Kevin Bowen notes that Warren grimaced after a red-zone rep at Friday's practice, but there hasn't been any comment from team or player about what happened and whether the tight end is expected to play Sunday. The only good news for Warren's fantasy managers is that the Colts and Titans are scheduled for an early afternoon kickoff at 1:00 p.m. ET.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Gets into end zone in strong Week 5 effort

Warren caught seven of nine targets for 83 yards and added a one-yard touchdown on his only carry in Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Steelers.

The second-year tight end led the Colts in catches and receiving yards while tying Keenan Allen for the team lead in targets, and Warren produced Indy's only TD of the game with his goal-line plunge in the second quarter. Warren is seeing strong volume as one of the few pass catchers Daniel Jones can rely on, and through five games he's delivered a 30-213-2 line on 36 targets. Given Jones' lack of options, Warren could be busy again in Week 6 against the winless Titans.

  • Colts' Tyler Warren: Five grabs in Week 4 win

Warren caught all five of his targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 30-13 win over the Commanders.

The Colts didn't need to air it out much after the Commanders lost Marcus Mariota to a knee injury, putting their offense in the hands of seventh-round rookie Athan Kaliakmanis, and Warren tied his season low in targets as a result. The tight end still tied Laquon Treadwell for the team high in catches, however. Warren has produced a 23-130-2 line on 27 targets through four games, and he'll remain one of Daniel Jones' top options as long as wideouts Alec Pierce (heel), and Keenan Allen (groin) remain on the shelf.
