  • Ravens' Ty'Son Williams: Inactive Sunday

Williams is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

With Williams inactive, the Ravens' Week 13 backfield will be comprised of Devonta Freeman, Latavius Murray and Nate McCrary.

  • Ravens' Ty'Son Williams: Carries once in win

Williams recorded one carry for one yard and failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Browns.

Williams continues to be an afterthought for the Ravens, as he played just two snaps in the game despite having recently moved up to third on the depth chart following the release of Le'Veon Bell. Veterans Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray are splitting the workload at running back, leaving little opportunity for Williams.

  • Ravens' Ty'Son Williams: Not involved on offense

Williams failed to record a single carry in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Bears.

Williams played five snaps on special teams, accounting for his only game action. Though he showed potential at running back in the preseason, it is clear that the Ravens do not trust the 25-year-old enough to be a big part of the offensive game plan. Instead, the team will continue to rely on veterans Latavius Murray and Devonta Freeman to carry the load barring any additions from outside the organization. Williams should remain off the fantasy radar going into a matchup with the Browns in Week 12.

  • Ravens' Ty'Son Williams: Effective in limited role

Williams had two carries for 10 yards and caught both of his targets for 24 yards Sunday against the Bengals.

Latavius Murray's injury paved the way for Williams to rejoin the active roster Sunday. The run game went out the window in the second half when the Bengals started to build a multiscore lead, so no Baltimore running back saw much work. Williams, along with Le'Veon Bell and Devonta Freeman, each saw more than 20 snaps, but none of them tallied more than five carries. Baltimore is on bye this week, which gives Murray added time to get healthy. That could complicate Williams' status for Week 9 if Murray is indeed active, though neither Bell nor Freeman are outplaying Williams by any significant measure.

  • Ravens' Ty'Son Williams: Suiting up Sunday

Williams is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Williams returned to the inactive list for the Ravens' Week 6 win over the Chargers, but he'll be suiting up as the team's No. 3 back Sunday after Latavius Murray (ankle) was ruled out for the contest. Devonta Freeman is expected to replace Murray as the team's lead option out of the backfield, while Le'Veon Bell looks to be next in line for work. As a result, Williams likely won't be tasked with handling a meaningful role Week 7.
