General manager Brian MacLellan indicated that Carlson (knee) recently underwent a "minor procedure," Tarik El-Bashir of The Athletic reports.
Carlson brought up the knee issue following Washington's exit from the postseason in May and indicated that surgical options were possible. MacLellan indicated that the 30-year-old defender is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
