Theodore (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, SinBin Vegas reports.
Vegas recalled Dylan Coghlan from AHL Henderson in a corresponding move. Theodore is week-to-week and will miss his fourth straight game against San Jose on Tuesday. Theodore has accounted for four goals, 20 points, 74 shots on net and 48 blocked shots in 31 appearances this season.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Week-to-week
Theodore (upper body) will not travel with the team on its two-game road trip this weekend and is considered week-to-week at this time, Hanah Kirkell of Vegas Hockey Now reports Friday.
Theodore missed Wednesday's game against New Jersey and is likely out until the New Year. He got off to a slow start with five assists in his first 14 games, but he's upped his offensive production since then, tallying four goals and 11 assists in his last 17 games. Jeremy Lauzon returned to action Wednesday after missing 14 games, taking Theodore's place in the lineup.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Won't play Wednesday
Theodore (upper body) is expected to miss Wednesday's game against New Jersey, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Theodore is considered day-to-day, so he still might be an option for Saturday's tilt in Calgary. He has four goals and 20 points through 31 appearances in 2025-26. Jeremy Lauzon (undisclosed) will replace Theodore in Wednesday's lineup.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: In doubt Wednesday
Theodore is questionable for Wednesday's clash with the Devils due to an upper-body injury, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Theodore has registered points in five of his last six contests, generating a combined one goal and five assists, including 10 blocks and 18 shots. Despite going without a power-play point in his last 12 outings, the 30-year-old blueliner continues to see minutes with the No. 2 unit.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Opens scoring Friday
Theodore scored a goal on four shots and blocked three shots in Friday's 3-0 win over the Devils.
Theodore tallied at 19:47 of the first period, and it ended up being all the offense the Golden Knights needed. The defenseman has been consistent for nearly a month now, going no longer than two games without a point since Nov. 10. In that span, he's racked up four goals and eight assists over 13 contests, for a total of 17 points, 65 shots on net, 44 blocks and a plus-4 rating in 27 appearances on the year.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Logs two assists, shootout winner
Theodore notched two assists, five shots on net, three blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Theodore had a hand in goals by Ivan Barbashev and Braeden Bowman in this contest. In the shootout, Theodore delivered the winning tally to make this collectively one of his best efforts of the season. The 30-year-old defenseman has been steady lately after a quiet start to the year. He's up to three goals, 13 helpers, 61 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 26 appearances. Theodore will be on the second power-play unit since Vegas has five forwards in the first group, but he can still make a sizable impact at even strength.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Hat trick of helpers
Theodore recorded three assists and put three shots on goal in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth.
Thursday marked Theodore's first multi-point performance of the season, as he played a hand in the two goals scored by Jack Eichel and Vegas' final goal, scored by Braeden Bowman. With the trio of apples, the 30-year-old Theodore is up to 10 assists, 12 points, 45 shots on goal and 32 blocks through 20 games this season. In the absence of Alex Pietrangelo (hip) this season, Theodore is averaging a career-high 23:59 of ice time. His increased opportunities, recent hot stretch (seven points in his last six games), and current health are all reasons to value him as a high-level blueliner in fantasy for the rest of the season.

Theodore scored a goal on six shots and blocked three shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Theodore's goal got the Golden Knights on the board at 18:56 of the second period. The 30-year-old defenseman has a goal and an assist over his last two games, which could be just the spark he needs to improve his offense. Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Chips in with helper
Theodore provided an assist and blocked five shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to Tampa Bay.
Theodore grabbed an assist on William Karlsson's tally, but he was mainly tasked with helping shut down the Lightning to force the game into an extra period. Theodore led the defensive unit with five blocks, and the six blueliners as a whole combined for 19 blocked shots. Overall, the 30-year-old blueliner has three assists, 19 shots on goal and 23 blocks through nine games this season. While his offensive production is a step behind his career-best 57-point campaign he posted in 67 regular-season games last year, Theodore is miles ahead of the pace he needs to set a new career high in blocks. His additional category coverage this season makes Theodore a solid fantasy option in all formats while he looks to return to consistently contributing on offense.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Hands out helper
Theodore notched an assist, three blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Theodore's offense has taken a significant hit to begin 2025-26, as he wasn't on the top power-play unit until Monday, when Mark Stone (wrist) was placed on injured reserve with a week-to-week designation. The Golden Knights have opted for five forwards on the top unit to begin the season and will likely go that way again once Stone is healthy. For now, Theodore will have a chance to catch up on offense, and if he's able to do so, he'll be a good sell-high candidate in fantasy. He's at two assists, 16 shots on net, 17 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through seven outings this season, a big disappointment after his career year of 57 points in 67 regular-season games in 2024-25.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Contributes power-play assist
Theodore provided a power-play assist, three shots on goal, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 1.
Theodore's shot was tipped twice, with William Karlsson getting a piece before Mark Stone deflected it in for the opening goal at 2:13 of the first period. Through seven playoff outings, Theodore has five points, four of which have come on the power play. He's added 18 shots, 11 blocks and a minus-4 rating. While he should still be able to make an impact on offense, Theodore will be seeing heavy defensive minutes against the Oilers' top forwards throughout the second round.

Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Two-point effort Thursday
Theodore scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist Thursday in the Golden Knights' 3-2 win over the Wild in Game 6 of their first-round series.
The veteran blueliner opened the scoring early in the first period, snapping a shot past Filip Gustavsson through heavy traffic. Theodore racked up two goals and four points in the series, with both tallies and one of the helpers coming on the power play, and he should remain a key part of Vegas' attack in the second round against the Oilers.
