Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Modest production in Week 17
Jones recorded five total tackles (one solo) in Sunday's 27-10 win over Carolina.
Jones had his four-game streak of reaching at least 10 tackles snapped, but he still finished one stop short of the team lead in Week 17. The linebacker has now compiled 121 total tackles (58 solo), including 0.5 sacks, while also adding seven passes defensed, five of which are interceptions, and a defensive touchdown over 14 contests this season.

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Nearly gets INT in Week 16 victory
Jones posted 12 tackles (four solo) during the Seahawks' 38-37 overtime win over the Rams on Thursday.
Jones posted double-digit tackles for a fourth consecutive game (and sixth time this season), and he finished Thursday's game as the second-leading tackler behind Drake Thomas (13). Jones was the only Seattle defender to play all 92 defensive snaps and came close to giving the Seahawks possession in overtime, but his apparent interception of Matthew Stafford was reversed after replay showed the ball hit the ground. Jones is up to 116 combined tackles through 13 regular-season games, and he'll look to add to his total in the Seahawks' Week 17 road tilt against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 28.

Jones was able to pace the team in takedowns, reaching double-digit stops for the third straight game and fifth time overall this season. The linebacker is now up to 104 total tackles (53 solo), including 0.5 sacks, while also adding seven passes defensed, five of which are interceptions, and a defensive touchdown over 12 contests in his first full campaign with Seattle.

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Generates 11 tackles
Jones posted 11 tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 37-9 win over the Falcons.
Jones has stacked up 94 tackles (48 solo) through 11 games, putting him firmly on track for a fourth straight season with 100-plus stops. However, the 2021 third-round pick is contributing more in pass defense with career highs in pass breakups (seven) and interceptions (five), returning one for a touchdown last week. Jones should continue to be an elite fantasy contributor down the stretch.

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: First career pick-six
Jones recorded 12 tackles (two solo) and two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown, in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Vikings.
Jones intercepted an errant pass from Vikings QB Max Brosmer and returned it 85 yards for his first career pick-six. This was a monster performance by Jones, who returned to the lineup after missing last week's game with a knee injury. The 26-year-old linebacker has been a consistent fantasy contributor this season with 8.3 tackles per game in addition to five interceptions.

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Past knee injury
Jones (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Jones has missed two of the Seahawks' last three games due to a knee injury, but his ability to practice in full Wednesday puts him on track to play against the Vikings on Sunday. The 2021 third-rounder has accumulated 71 tackles (36 solo) and five pass defenses (three interceptions) across nine regular-season games.

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Inactive for Week 12
Jones (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans.
A knee injury limited Jones' practice participation over the last two days of Week 12 prep, and he'll end up being sidelined for the second time in three games. With Jones and Tyrice Knight (concussion) both inactive, Chazz Surratt is expected to step into a starting role at inside linebacker alongside Drake Thomas for Sunday's road game. Jones will look to progress enough in his recovery to return for the Seahawks' Week 13 clash against the Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 30.
