  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Heads to medical tent Sunday

Kamara (undisclosed) walked slowly to the medical tent during Sunday's game at the Giants, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

While attempting to catch a somewhat errant pass down the left sideline, Kamara landed awkwardly and appeared to be shaken up. The current health concern isn't known, but he has been dealing with a back injury the last two weeks, so it may be an aggravation of that issue. Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson are the Saints' current healthy and available running backs.

  • Carson Steele RB | PHI

Eagles' Carson Steele: Questionable with shoulder injury

Steele (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Steele exited the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Panthers with a shoulder injury. Jaydon Blue will be the only reserve running back behind starter Dameon Pierce if Steele cannot return to the contest.

  • Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC

Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Two receiving TDs in Week 6 loss

Tuten carried the ball 12 times for 39 yards and caught all four of his targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Texans.

While the Houston front seven kept him bottled up on the ground -- Tuten's longest run went for just five yards -- the second-year RB made an impact through the air, turning a dump pass from Trevor Lawrence into a 27-yard score in the second quarter before catching another two-yard TD before halftime. The receiving touchdowns were his first of the season and tied his total from all of 2025, and Tuten topped 80 scrimmage yards for the fourth straight game. The Jaguars will get a bye before facing the Colts in Week 8.

  • Woody Marks RB | HOU

Texans' Woody Marks: Leads backfield with 81 scrimmage yards

Marks carried the ball 15 times for 56 yards and caught two of three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Jaguars.

With David Montgomery (groin) inactive, Marks led the Texans backfield in touches and scrimmage yards, but practice-squad elevation Jawhar Jordan arguably made a bigger splash with 43 rushing yards and a touchdown on just six carries. Jordan showed some upside late last season when pressed into duty as well, so even if Montgomery's absence continues, Marks could see his workload shrink. Marks will take on the Giants in Week 7.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Henderson available in Week 6

Stevenson will be joined by TreVeyon Henderson (ankle) in the backfield Sunday against the Jets, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

After Henderson suffered a right high-ankle sprain last Sunday versus the Raiders, Stevenson had a chance to take on a large workload in the short term, but with the former active, it's unclear if that's a possibility in Week 6. Any number of scenarios are possible for Henderson, from him taking on his normal number of touches to being available in an emergency capacity. Stevenson should be safe for roughly his typical 14.4 touches per game, which so far has amounted to 338 yards from scrimmage and two TDs in five contests this season.

  • Browns' Jaleel McLaughlin: Looks set for Week 6 start

McLaughlin was the first running back to take reps during pregame warmups and appears likely to draw the start Sunday against the Ravens, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

With Quinshon Judkins (ankle) inactive and both Raheim Sanders (hip) and Dylan Sampson (knee) on injured reserve, McLaughlin is the next man up out of the backfield for Cleveland. Cleveland signed Audric Estime off the Minnesota practice squad earlier in the week to provide another option at running back, but McLaughlin projects to serve as the lead ballcarrier as well as the team's top option on passing downs. In four games with the Browns since being signed to the roster, McLaughlin has played just 27 total snaps on offense, carrying twice for 31 yards and a touchdown while going without a catch on two targets.

  • Sean Tucker RB | TB

Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Inactive for Week 6

Tucker (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Tucker ended Week 6 prep with consecutive limited sessions as he manages a quadriceps injury. The running back is not quite ready to return to the field and will not suit up for Sunday's game. Josh Williams has been elevated from the practice squad to serve as the Buccaneers' No. 3 running back behind Bucky Irving and Kenny Gainwell.

  • Trevor Etienne RB | CAR

Panthers' Trevor Etienne: Green light to make 2026 debut

Etienne (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Etienne was activated from injured reserve Saturday, and the second-year running back has been cleared to make his 2026 debut Sunday after missing the first four games of the regular season due to an ankle injury. He could operate as the Panthers' RB2 behind Chuba Hubbard, given the absences of both AJ Dillon (ankle) and Jonathon Brooks (abdomen, IR).

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Cleared to play vs. Indianapolis

Spears (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Spears drew the questionable tag for Sunday's AFC South showdown after logging a full practice Friday, and the fourth-year running back has been cleared by medical staff to suit up against Indianapolis. He has 17 carries for 65 yards and 14 catches (on 16 targets) for 68 yards through five regular-season games while serving as the Titans' RB2 behind Tony Pollard.

  • Steelers' Eli Heidenreich: Healthy scratch again

Heidenreich (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

The seventh-round rookie continues to be inactive behind Jaylen Warren, Rico Dowdle, Travis Homer and Lew Nichols. It remains unclear what Heidenreich's role is and whether he will remain on the roster throughout the 2026 season.
