Rams' Tyler Higbee: Will not play Week 17
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Higbee (ankle) will not be activated from injured reserve ahead of next Monday night's game against the Falcons, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Higbee was injured Week 11 and will miss his sixth consecutive game. With Higbee idle, Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen and rookie Terrance Ferguson have been handling tight-end duties for the Rams. Higbee's next chance to suit up will be Week 18 against the Cardinals, but there's a chance the Rams leave him on injured reserve until the playoffs.

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Not available for Week 16
Rams head coach Sean McVay said that Higbee (ankle) won't be activated from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game against the Seahawks, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
With just one walk-through practice scheduled in advance of that contest, the Rams will delay opening Higbee's 21-day evaluation window. The tight end will miss his fifth straight game as a result, but if he returns to practice next week, he could be activated for the Rams' matchup with the Falcons on Dec. 29. Whenever he returns, Higbee will be part of a messy committee at tight end that also features Colby Parkinson, Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen, all of whom played more than 70 percent of the offensive snaps in a Week 15 win over the Lions.

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Headed to IR
The Rams are placing Higbee (ankle) on injured reserve, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Higbee will miss at least four games, with his earliest possible date for a return being Thursday, Dec. 18, at Seattle (Week 16). His absence should lead to more playing time for the other members of the Rams' TE committee, namely Colby Parkinson and Terrance Ferguson, though Davis Allen could take on some extra snaps as well.

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Hurts ankle Sunday
Higbee injured his ankle during Sunday's contest versus the Seahawks, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Prior to limping off the field late in the third quarter, Higbee had one catch (on two targets) for 23 yards. The TE trio of Colby Parkinson, Davis Allen and Terrance Ferguson will fill in for Higbee for as long as he's sidelined.

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Modest numbers in victory
Higbee secured all three targets for 33 yards during Sunday's 42-26 win against the 49ers.
If you could stitch together all the tight ends for the Rams into one amalgamation of a tight end, their stat line would be quite respectable. In this week's contest against San Francisco, for example, they would've put up a 10-114-2 line on 14 targets. That line is split into four from week to week, however, making it nearly impossible to rely on any one individual Rams tight end for fantasy purposes. Higbee has seen at least three targets in each of his last five games but hasn't recorded more than 40 yards in any game this season, making him touchdown dependent in order to have a relevant outcome for fantasy. The Seahawks are up next in a divisional showdown Week 11, and they did just allow Trey McBride to put up a 9-127-1 line against them, albeit in a blowout.
