Chargers' Bud Dupree: Leaves game with hamstring injury
Dupree (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Dupree was getting more snaps on defense in the absence of Tuli Tuipulotu (coach's decision), but the former is now being evaluated by medical staff for a hamstring injury. Odafe Oweh and Kyle Kennard are slated to see more work on defense if Dupree is unable to return.

Coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that Dupree (back) is expected to practice this week, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
The Chargers face the Texans on Saturday and will be required to release an official practice report Tuesday. Dupree missed Sunday's win over the Cowboys, but it sounds like he could return after just the one-game absence. The veteran edge rusher has appeared in 14 games this season, logging 16 tackles (nine solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one pass breakup on limited snaps.

Dupree (back) is inactive for Sunday's game against Dallas.
Dupree managed a back injury during the week and logged an LP/DNP/LP practice progression. He ultimately isn't healthy enough to take the field against the Cowboys and will miss his first regular-season game since 2023. Dupree was back to limited participation in practice Friday after not practicing Thursday. The 32-year-old is recovering from a back injury suffered in the Chargers' Week 15 win over the Chiefs. The 10th-year veteran has contributed 16 tackles (nine solo), including 2.0 sacks, and one pass breakup through 14 games this season and has a chance to add to his totals should he be available Sunday.

Dupree (back) did not practice Thursday.
Dupree was limited in Wednesday's practice, so it's possible his lack of practice activity Thursday represents a setback in his recovery. The veteran linebacker is nursing a back injury he appears to have sustained during Week 15's win over the Chiefs. Unless Dupree is able to get back on the field in at least a limited fashion Friday, he'll be in danger of missing Sunday's road matchup against the Cowboys.
