Steelers' Jamel Dean: Sidelined for remainder of Week 4
Dean (ankle) has been ruled out from returning to Thursday's matchup versus Cleveland, Ray Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Dean was injured in the first half and ruled out shortly after halftime. Prior to his exit, he recorded one tackle and one defensed pass. Per Fittipaldo, Daylen Everette will likely take over for Dean for the remainder of Thursday Night Football.

Steelers' Jamel Dean: Questionable to return in Week 4
Dean (ankle) is questionable to return to Thursday's game versus Cleveland, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Pittsburgh was already lacking depth at the cornerback position ahead of this contest, so Dean's injury isn't good news as it relates to slowing down the surging Browns offense. If Dean can't return in Week 4, Daylen Everette should see more snaps.

Steelers' Jamel Dean: Good to go for Week 3
Dean (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against Cincinnati.
Dean was working through an ankle issue during Week 3 prep and drew the questionable tag after logging back-to-back limited practices Thursday and Friday. He's been cleared by medical staff to play Sunday and will start opposite Asante Samuel at outside cornerback. Dean has eight tackles (five solo) through the first two games of the regular season.

Steelers' Jamel Dean: Uncertain to play in Week 3
Dean (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Dean didn't practice Wednesday, but despite his limited participation Thursday and Friday, he will carry an injury designation heading into the AFC North clash with the Bengals. Joey Porter (undisclosed), who is also questionable, might return in Week 3, so his presence would help fill the void if Dean isn't available. Asante Samuel would also continue to receive more playing time.

Steelers' Jamel Dean: DNP Wednesday
Dean (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Dean likely suffered his ankle injury in the Steelers' 20-3 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. The cornerback will need to upgrade his participation level in the remaining two practices of the week to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Bengals.
