Eagles' Kyzir White: Linking up with Eagles
White will sign with the Eagles on a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Coming off of his best statistical season to date, White was unable to find a big market for his services this offseason. He ultimately has settled on a one-year deal with the Eagles, likely in hopes of finding a longer-term contract that will net him a larger payday next offseason. He should settle in as an off-ball linebacker, most likely working alongside T.J. Edwards.

Chargers' Kyzir White: Massive breakout season
White finished the 2021 season with 144 tackles (90 solo), three passes defended, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a sack across 17 games.
The 2018 fourth-round pick blossomed in his first full year as the starting middle linebacker as he racked up the eighth-most tackles and solo tackles in the entire league. Always known as an excellent coverage linebacker, White quietly pushed out 2020 first-round pick Kenneth Murray as the team's top linebacker by Week 6 and never looked back. The Chargers' porous run defense might mean changes could be on the horizon for the front seven, but the fourth-year linebacker should be a key fixture next season provided the team opts to bring back the upcoming unrestricted free agent.
