Seahawks' Ty Okada: Full participant Thursday
Okada (oblique) was a full participant in practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
The starting free safety played through the injury last week and stayed on the field for 96 percent of Seattle's defensive snaps, so his limited participation Wednesday was likely precautionary. Okada looks on track to play Sunday against Atlanta. He has 49 tackles (32 solo), including 1.5 sacks, five pass breakups, including one interception, and a fumble recovery on the year.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Limited in practice
Okada (oblique) was a limited participant in Seattle's practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Okada played through his injury during the Week 13 win over the Vikings, so his reduced workload in practice is likely precautionary. The 26-year-old should continue to serve as the team's starting free safety during Sunday's matchup versus Atlanta.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Good to go
Okada (oblique) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Vikings.
The safety suffered the injury last week against Tennessee and appeared to possibly be headed for injured reserve, as Seattle coach Mike Macdonald relayed after the contest, per Brady Henderson of ESPN.com. However, Okada returned to practice Thursday and entered the weekend with a questionable tag. Now that he's good to go, he should be in line to start Sunday.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Limited in Thursday's practice
Okada (oblique) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Okada's return to practice Thursday comes as a bit of a surprise, given that head coach Mike Macdonald relayed Monday that the third-year safety was a candidate for injured reserve due to an oblique injury. Nevertheless, Okada's ability to practice -- albeit in a limited capacity -- is an encouraging sign that the injury is not as severe as once thought. Friday's practice report should shed more light on Okada's chances of playing Sunday against Minnesota.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Questionable for Week 13
Okada (oblique) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
With Julian Love (hamstring) on injured reserve, D'Anthony Bell would likely be next up at safety if Okada is unable to play. Okada has started eight of 11 games in which he's appeared this season, registering 47 tackles (30 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and five pass breakups, with one interception.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Looking at extended absence
Head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Okada could be placed on injured reserve due to an oblique injury, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Okada injured his oblique during the first half of Sunday's 30-24 win over the Titans, which prevented him from returning for the second. A stint on injured reserve would require Okada to miss at least four games, so if the move takes place before the Seahawks' Week 13 clash against the Vikings, he would be eligible to return in Week 17 against the Panthers on Saturday, Dec. 27. Okada has started in each of Seattle's last seven games, but the Seahawks could be getting reinforcements at safety this week as Julian Love (hamstring) is eligible to be activated off IR.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Hurts oblique, done for Week 12
Okada (oblique) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup against Tennessee, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.
Okada was hurt during the first half and was ruled out just before the beginning of the third quarter. Before getting injured, he tallied two tackles (both solo). Nick Emmanwori figures to log more defensive snaps at safety with Okada sidelined.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Solid in close loss
Okada recorded six tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 21-19 loss against the Rams.
The Seahawks actually held the ball for the bulk of the Week 11 contest, and Okada logged his lowest defensive snap count (46) since Week 4 at Arizona. He still managed to collect six tackles though, perhaps appeasing some fantasy managers relying on him for IDP production. He'll remain on the outer fringes of IDP relevance for a Week 12 matchup at Tennessee.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Racks up seven stops in Week 10 win
Okada finished with seven tackles (five solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 44-22 victory versus the Cardinals.
Okada ended as Seattle's third-leading tackler in the win. He missed just one defensive snap after playing every one of the Seahawks' defensive snaps over the team's previous four games. This is the first season Okada has been a major part of the defense, and he's tallied 39 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and five defensed passes (including an interception) through nine contests.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Five tackles, INT in SNF victory
Okada recorded five tackles (two solo) and one interception in the Seahawks' win over the Commanders on Sunday night.
Okada made his fifth start of the season against Washington and has played all 278 defensive snaps across Seattle's last four contests. Julian Love (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve last Friday, paving the way for Okada to remain the starter in the immediate future. On the season, Okada is up to a career-high 32 tackles (21 solo), including 1.5 sacks, and four pass breakups, including the one pick, on 66 percent of the defensive snaps.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Logs first solo sack
Okada compiled nine tackles (six solo), including 1.0 sacks, during the Seahawks' 27-19 win over the Texans on Monday.
Okada was one of four Seahawks players to play all 76 defensive snaps in Monday's win. He recorded the first solo sack of his three-year NFL career late in the third quarter, when he came on a blitz to take down C.J. Stroud for an eight-yard loss, which resulted in the Texans punting the ball on the next play. Okada has started in four of the Seahawks' last five games, but he would likely revert to rotational role in the secondary and as a contributor on special teams following the Week 8 bye if Julian Love (hamstring) is able to play in Week 9 against the Commanders on Sunday, Nov. 2.

Seahawks' Ty Okada: Nine tackles against New Orleans
Okada recorded nine tackles (seven solo) in the Seahawks' win over the Saints on Sunday.
With Julian Love (hamstring) and Nick Emmanwori (ankle) missing Week 3 against New Orleans, Okada made the start at safety and played all 73 defensive snaps after playing a combined 15 defensive snaps across Weeks 1 and 2. Okada will likely revert to his special-teams role once Love and Emmanwori return to health.
