Bears' Luther Burden: Stays busy in Week 8 win
Burden secured seven of nine targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 34-17 win over the Seahawks on Monday night.
Burden tied Colston Loveland for the team lead in both receptions and targets, and he was on the receiving end of Caleb Williams' one touchdown pass of the night. The second-year wideout's scoring grab came from one yard out in the first quarter and was his third of the season, and Burden now has a 19-281-2 line on 21 targets over the last three games heading into a Week 9 home matchup against the Buccaneers on Sunday night.

Bears' Luther Burden: Season-best effort in win
Burden brought in all four targets for 130 yards and a touchdown and rushed once for seven yards in the Bears' 30-24 win over the Patriots on Thursday.
Burden comfortably led the Bears in receiving yards with the second-highest total of his career, and he added his second touchdown catch of the season on a 24-yard grab just before halftime. Burden also had a game-long 58-yard catch late in the first quarter to set up a D'Andre Swift four-yard touchdown one play later, and the fleet-footed receiver has accumulated 225 of his 491 receiving yards on the season in the last two games alone. Burden has arguably overtaken Rome Odunze as Chicago's most explosive pass-catching weapon, and he should play a critical role again in a Week 8 road showdown against the Seahawks on Monday night, Nov. 2.

Bears' Luther Burden: Remains busy in Week 6 win
Burden secured all eight targets for 95 yards in the Bears' 31-23 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Burden led the Bears in receptions, receiving yards and targets on an afternoon where the returning Caleb Williams threw for 305 yards and just six incompletions. The speedy second-year wideout was the returning signal-caller's favorite target, as the duo quickly rekindled their connection. Burden has made good on the elevated Year 2 expectations to date in 2026, posting a 31-361-1 line on 43 targets over the first six games as a Week 7 home matchup against the Patriots approaches Thursday night.

Bears' Luther Burden: Leads pass catchers in loss
Burden secured four of six targets for 47 yards and rushed four times for two yards in the Bears' 31-7 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Burden led the Bears in receptions and receiving yards, although he accomplished the feat during a highly unproductive day for Chicago's offense as a whole. Burden also had the Bears' longest reception of the day at 23 yards, and he's now drawn at least six targets in four consecutive games. The speedy second-year wideout has just one touchdown catch on the season, however, a matter he'll look to rectify in a Week 6 road matchup against the Falcons next Sunday.

Bears' Luther Burden: Ties season high with 63 rec yards
Burden caught four of six targets for 63 yards and added an 11-yard rush in Sunday's 23-12 win over the Jets.
Burden finished second on the team in receiving yards, trailing Rome Odunze by 31. Both of Chicago's touchdowns came on the ground, but Tyson Bagent looked capable under center and threw for 268 yards. If Caleb Williams (hamstring) doesn't return in Week 5 against the Packers, Burden will likely continue to catch passes from Bagent. Burden has topped 60 yards in three of four games to begin his sophomore season, but he has yet to exceed 63 receiving yards in a game after reaching the 100-yard mark twice during his rookie campaign.

Bears' Luther Burden: Scores TD on productive night
Burden secured seven of 11 targets for 61 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for seven yards in the Bears' 27-7 win over the Eagles on Monday night.
The second-year wideout led the Bears in receptions and targets in the impressive win with totals that also qualified as season highs, while checking in second only to Kalif Raymond in receiving yards. Burden also scored his first touchdown of the season on a nifty shovel pass that he took eight yards to the house while breaking multiple tackles near the goal line to cap off Chicago's opening possession. Burden's ability to click with fill-in signal-caller Case Keenum bodes well for the receiver's fantasy prospects, considering Caleb Williams (hamstring) is still projected to miss several more games. Burden will look to carry over the momentum into a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Sunday.

Bears' Luther Burden: Leads Chicago in targets in Week 2 loss
Burden caught three of seven targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Vikings.
On a wet and windy day at Soldier Field, Burden led all Bears in targets, but that volume didn't result in much production. The second-year wideout has had a slow start to the season, posting an 8-95-0 line on 12 targets through two contests, and his outlook in the short term won't be improved if the hamstring injury that knocked Caleb Williams out of Sunday's contest proves to be serious. Burden could be catching passes from Tyson Bagent instead in a Week 3 home tilt against the Eagles.

Bears' Luther Burden: Five grabs in huge Week 1 win
Burden caught all five of his targets for 63 yards and added two yards on his only carry in Sunday's 59-37 win over the Panthers.
In the highest-scoring Week 1 game in NFL history, Burden didn't make a huge impact but did the most he could with the targets he got. The Bears' running game was the engine of the offense in this one -- six of their eight TDs came on the ground -- and that balance will tip toward the pass catchers sooner or later. Burden will look for more volume in Week 2 at home against the Vikings.

Bears' Luther Burden: Not on Week 1 injury report
Burden (groin) is not listed on the Bears' Week 1 injury report Wednesday.
As expected, Burden is ready to go for the start of the season Sunday against the Panthers. He missed some time earlier in the summer with a groin issue, but it was never believed to be serious. With Rome Odunze (calf) limited in practice Wednesday, Burden could have an enormous role in the passing game Sunday if Odunze is unable to play.
