The Penn State product didn't practice Thursday due to a quad injury, but it now appears he's moved past the issue. Brisker has played 100 percent of the Bears' defensive snaps through four games this season, recording 21 total tackles and one pass defended. He's expected to start alongside Kevin Byard to form Chicago's top safety duo in the Week 6 matchup against the Commanders.

It's a new injury for Brisker, who is making his first appearance on the injury report this season. Brisker has logged 100 percent of the defensive snaps through four games, so it's possible he was injured in practice this week. Bears' Jaquan Brisker: Taking part in OTAs
Brisker (concussion) has been participating in Bears' OTAs this week, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports.
Brisker missed a total of 12 contests last season due to concussion issues, but he appears to be back to full health, as Bair noted Brisker was flying around and "talking serious trash" at Wednesday's practice. Getting Brisker back to his normal self will be a big boost to Chicago's defense.
