Skinner has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Steelers. He started the week as a limited practice participant Wednesday, but his full participation Thursday indicates that he'll be available for Week 5 against the Raiders. Skinner (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Skinner sustained an ankle injury during the Broncos' Week 2 loss to the Steelers. The injury was severe enough to keep him from practicing all week, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 4 against the Jets on Sept. 29. Devon Key will serve as the top rotational safety Sunday behind starters P.J. Locke and Brandon Jones.
