Top Jets News

  • Jets' Jamien Sherwood: Strong showing in Week 4

Sherwood finished with 13 total tackles (five solo) and one forced fumble in Sunday's 23-12 loss to Chicago.

Sherwood finished behind Dane Belton (14) and Minkah Fitzpatrick (16) for the game high in total tackles. He also came up big in the third quarter by forcing a fumble on D'Andre Swift, which ultimately resulted in a 30-yard field goal from Jason Sanders.

  • Jets' Dane Belton: Productive in loss to Chicago

Belton finished with 14 total tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 23-12 loss to the Bears.

Belton finished behind Minkah Fitzpatrick for the game high in total tackles. The 2022 No. 114 overall pick spent his first four seasons with the Giants. In his final campaign with the club in 2025, he amassed a career-high 120 total tackles (60 solo), 2.0 sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. Belton is on pace for another quality year, giving him plenty of upside for IDP managers moving forward.

  • Jets' Demario Davis: Another quality showing in Week 4

Davis ended with 10 total tackles (five solo) and 1.0 sacks in Sunday's 23-12 loss to Chicago.

Davis has been on a roll of late, amassing 10 total tackles and 1.0 sacks in each of his last two games. The 37-year-old veteran has shown no signs of slowing down, and he has a favorable opportunity on the horizon in Week 5 against the Browns, a team that surrendered nearly 3.0 sacks per game in the first month of the 2026 campaign.

  • Jets' Dylan Parham: Remains week-to-week

Coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Parham is still week-to-week as he nurses a knee injury, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Parham sat out Sunday's game at Chicago with the knee injury he picked up in Week 3 at Detroit, and it's still bothering him as the Jets begin preparing for Week 5. Barring an unexpected development, he's trending towards missing Sunday's contest versus the Browns.

  • Jets' Nate Lynn: Signs with active roster

The Jets signed Lynn to the active roster Wednesday.

Lynn has yet to start in an NFL regular-season game. The defensive end from William & Mary University will now provide additional support for the Jets' defensive line.

  • Jets' Kingsley Enagbare: Limited during practice Wednesday

Enagbare (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday.

Enagbare didn't suit up for the Week 4 loss to Chicago. His presence at practice Wednesday, even in a limited capacity, is a positive step in the right direction. However, if Enagbare doesn't play in Week 5 against the Browns, Joseph Ossai may be more involved once again.

  • Jets' Braiden McGregor: Placed on injured reserve

McGregor (pectoral) was placed on the Jets' injured reserve list Wednesday, Eric Allen of the team's official site reports.

McGregor will miss the rest of the 2026 season due to a pectoral injury he sustained during the Jets' Week 4 loss to the Bears. His move to IR opens up a spot on the 53-man roster, which the Jets filled with Nate Lynn, who signed with the team's practice squad following the conclusion of training camp in late August.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Churns out full practice

Taylor (thumb) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Taylor didn't practice in any fashion and sat out for both of the Jets' past two games due to the thumb injury, but he appears to be close to 100 percent ahead of Sunday's contest against the Browns after operating with no restrictions to kick off Week 5 prep. The second-year tight end paced Jets tight ends in snaps through the first two weeks of the season, but he may have to settle for a lesser role upon his return. Rookie first-round pick Kenyon Sadiq -- who handled light workloads the first two weeks after missing much of training camp and the preseason while recovering from hernia surgery -- has seen his snap counts ramp up over the past two weeks while Taylor was sidelined and produced a 7-105-1 receiving line on 12 targets during that stretch. Sadiq now looks poised to operate as the Jets' top option at tight end ahead of Taylor moving forward.

  • Jets' Breece Hall: Sits out practice Wednesday

    Hall (quadriceps) didn't practice Wednesday.

Hall's continued absence from practice comes as little surprise after head coach Aaron Glenn said prior to Wednesday's session that the running back is week-to-week. With Hall looking likely to miss a second straight game Sunday versus the Browns, Braelon Allen should be in store for another turn as the Jets' lead back.

  • Jets' Tim Patrick: Has practice window opened

The Jets designated Patrick (groin) to return from injured reserve Wednesday.

The move opens the veteran wide receiver's 21-day practice window, and it comes at a good time for the Jets, with Adonai Mitchell (finger) still week-to-week. Patrick is unlikely to have much fantasy appeal in a New York offense that will struggle to support any pass catchers behind Garrett Wilson and possibly rookie Kenyon Sadiq.

  • Jets' Mason Taylor: Back at practice Wednesday

Taylor (thumb) will practice Wednesday, Eric Allen of the Jets' official site reports.

Taylor has missed the past two games with his thumb issue but appears to be tracking toward a Week 5 return against the Browns. He's way off the fantasy radar, and Taylor's return likely wouldn't have much of an effect on rookie Kenyon Sadiq's pass-catching role, as Taylor is more of the in-line blocker at the position for New York.

  • Jets' Adonai Mitchell: Remains week-to-week

Head coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Mitchell (finger) remains week-to-week, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Mitchell has missed the last two games and looks on his way to missing a third straight contest. Isaiah Williams and Sterling Shepard have been rounding out three-wide sets behind Garrett Wilson, but the Jets could also get Tim Patrick (groin) back from injured reserve this week after his 21-day practice window was opened Wednesday.

  • Jets' Breece Hall: Remains week-to-week

Head coach Aaron Glenn said Wednesday that Hall (quadriceps) remains week-to-week, Al Iannazzone of Newsday reports.

Hall seems certain to miss at least one more game with his quad injury. After Braelon Allen played 32 of 34 offensive snaps in last Sunday's loss to the Bears, he should once again be expected to handle an every-down, bellcow role in Sunday's home date with the Browns. Allen is a locked-in fantasy RB2 with RB1 upside.
