Texans' Dalton Schultz: Back at practice Thursday
Schultz (qaudriceps) returned to practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Schultz sat out practice Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury. His participation level Thursday will be revealed later in the day, but it's a good sign that Schultz is set to practice in at least some capacity. He remains locked in atop Houston's depth chart at tight end when healthy. The Texans have made their way back from London and will host the Giants on Sunday.

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Sidelined Wednesday with quad issue
Schultz didn't practice Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury.
Schultz is making his first appearance of the season on the injury report after he apparently got banged up during this past Sunday's 34-31 win over the Jaguars in London. The Texans haven't yet indicated that Schultz's availability for this weekend's game versus the Giants is in any peril, but he'll need to resume practicing in some fashion over the next two days to assuage fantasy managers' concerns about his health.

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Snags four passes in win
Schultz caught four of six targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Jaguars.
Schultz actually led the team with his six targets, but C.J. Stroud spread the ball around to 10 different pass catchers on a day he attempted 34 passes. Schultz has been held to 35 yards or fewer in five of six games this season and has yet to visit the end zone. He's a low-floor, low-ceiling fantasy bet ahead of next Sunday's date with the Giants.

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Three snags in win
Schultz caught three of four targets for 30 yards during Sunday's 26-3 win over the Titans.
Schultz has now caught three or fewer passes while failing to exceed 30 receiving yards in three straight contests. The tight end has garnered just nine targets since Week 2 after he caught 16 of 22 targets for 175 yards over the first two weeks of the season. Schultz may have a tough time getting back on track against the Jaguars' impressive defense in Week 6.

Schultz caught both of his targets for nine yards in Sunday's 34-30 loss to the Cowboys.
With Nico Collins back from his hamstring injury after missing two weeks, Schultz's voluminous pass-catching role evaporated against Dallas. For as long as Collins is healthy, Schultz is little more than a a touchdown-or-bust fantasy option ahead of next Sunday's date with the Titans.

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Held to three catches in Week 3
Schultz caught all three of his targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Colts.
Schultz crashed back down to earth after recording 12 catches for 140 yards in the previous game. The Texans remained without top WR Nico Collins (hamstring), and only Xavier Hutchinson (51) had more receiving yards than Schultz as C.J. Stroud threw for just 167 yards in Sunday's loss. Schultz figures to remain among Stroud's top targets in Week 4 against the Cowboys, even if Collins comes back.

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Elevated role expected again
Schultz is in line to see an increase in targets for the second consecutive game in Sunday's Week 3 matchup against the Colts due to Nico Collins (hamstring) being ruled inactive for the contest.
The veteran tight end recorded a career-high 140 receiving yards on 12 receptions (14 targets) in the Week 2 loss to the Bengals, a game that marked Collins' first absence of the season. The fact the Texans were in catch-up mode and the Bengals' defense tends to funnel production to tight ends were both mitigating factors in Schultz's atypical numbers, but Collins' second consecutive absence does create the opportunity for another busy afternoon as Houston aims to secure its first win. Additionally, the Colts have been fairly generous to tight ends over the first two games of the season, surrendering a 75.0 percent catch rate, 11.1 yards per reception and tying for the third-most receptions (15) given up to the position among teams that have played two games thus far.
