Jaylen Brown SF | PHI
76ers' Jaylen Brown: Struggles badly with shot
Brown managed 16 points (5-20 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-8 FT), four rebounds, four assists and a block across 40 minutes in Sunday's 106-93 loss to the Pistons.
Brown endured his least efficient shooting performance of the young season, converting just 25 percent of his field-goal attempts despite playing a season-high 40 minutes. The substantial workload and 20 shot attempts were encouraging, particularly with Philadelphia missing two starters. However, his limited defensive contributions and inefficient scoring resulted in a disappointing fantasy outing. Don't expect Brown to struggle at this rate on a regular basis, though, and he's more likely to bounce back rather than getting into a cold streak in future games.

Alex Caruso SF | OKC
Thunder's Alex Caruso: Strong showing in win
Caruso closed Sunday's 108-101 win over the Clippers with 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals over 22 minutes.
Caruso delivered an excellent all-around performance off the bench, leading Oklahoma City in assists while contributing across every major statistical category. With Cason Wallace exiting early due to a left shoulder injury and Jalen Williams suffering a potentially serious leg injury late in the contest, Caruso could see increased playing time and playmaking opportunities in the coming games.

LeBron James PF | PHI
76ers' LeBron James: Scores 18 points Sunday
James finished with 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-6 FT), two rebounds, five assists and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 106-93 loss to the Pistons.
James returned after sitting out Saturday's win over Milwaukee, taking on a larger offensive role with Joel Embiid (heel) and VJ Edgecombe (abdomen) unavailable. He's yet to score 20 or more points in a game this season, though that's expected since he has to share the court with Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown. His production should remain useful across multiple categories, but James' days of being a go-to scorer and 20-point producer seem to be gone.

Tyler Kolek PG | NY
Knicks' Tyler Kolek: Hands out nine dimes
Kolek provided zero points (0-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), three rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 15 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 loss to the Magic.
With Jose Alvarado (ankle) sidelined, Kolek entered the rotation after sitting out New York's first two games and made the most of his opportunity as a facilitator. He led both teams with nine assists without committing a turnover, an impressive showing in limited minutes. However, his playing time could decrease once Alvarado returns, making Kolek a speculative fantasy option outside deeper leagues.

OG Anunoby PF | NY
Knicks' OG Anunoby: Efficient 22-point outing
Anunoby amassed 22 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 35 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 loss to the Magic.
Anunoby turned in an efficient offensive performance, matching Karl-Anthony Towns for second on the team in scoring while converting half of his six three-point attempts. He scored 10 points in the fourth quarter as New York attempted to hold off Orlando's comeback, but his lack of defensive statistics limited his overall fantasy production.
-
Josh Hart SF | NY
Knicks' Josh Hart: Hits three triples in loss
Hart notched 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals over 34 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 loss to Orlando.
Hart delivered a respectable performance across multiple categories, tying his season high with three three-pointers while finishing second on the team in rebounds. His nine attempts from beyond the arc were notable, though his fantasy value continues to hinge primarily on his rebounding and complementary production rather than scoring.
-
Jalen Brunson PG | NY
Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores 28 points in loss
Brunson produced 28 points (12-28 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 32 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 loss to Orlando.
Brunson led all scorers with 28 points but struggled with his efficiency, particularly from beyond the arc and at the charity stripe. The star guard accounted for 28 of New York's 102 points, though his four assists were a modest total considering his substantial offensive workload. Brunson remains the Knicks' primary scoring option despite the team's 0-3 start.
-
Desmond Bane SG | ORL
Magic's Desmond Bane: Plays well in win
Bane logged 22 points (6-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 35 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 victory over the Knicks.
Bane bounced back from a scoreless first quarter to lead Orlando in scoring, connecting on four three-pointers while contributing across multiple categories. With Paolo Banchero (ankle) sidelined and Jalen Suggs suffering a right knee injury late in Sunday's contest, Bane could be asked to shoulder an even larger offensive workload in the coming games.
-
Jase Richardson PG | ORL
Magic's Jase Richardson: Hits two triples in win
Richardson had six points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt) and one rebound over 17 minutes during Sunday's 111-102 win over New York.
Richardson made his first career start with Paolo Banchero (ankle) sidelined, though he struggled to make much of an impact offensively. The second-year guard could remain in line for additional opportunities if Jalen Suggs' right knee injury forces him to miss time, but Anthony Black's strong season debut may limit Richardson's upside.
-
Anthony Black SG | ORL
Magic's Anthony Black: Plays well in debut
Black fouled out of Sunday's 111-102 victory over New York after recording 18 points (6-11 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals over 26 minutes.
Black made an immediate impact in his first appearance of the season, connecting on five three-pointers while providing a spark off Orlando's bench. He was expected to operate under a minutes restriction but still logged 26 minutes before fouling out. With Jalen Suggs suffering a right knee injury late in Sunday's contest, Black could see an expanded role in the backcourt if Suggs misses time.
