Moreau recorded 46 tackles (33 solo) to go with seven passes defended and one interception while playing in 16 games in 2023.
Moreau had a solid 2023 campaign in his first year with the Broncos. The 29-year-old cornerback is now set enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent. It's unclear if the Broncos will try to keep Moreau in Denver, as fellow cornerback Ja'Quan McMillian is under contract for 2024 and just finished a strong season.

Moreau posted eight tackles (seven solo) and a pass defended in Saturday's 42-17 loss to the Lions.
Moreau's tackle total was a season high for the veteran cornerback. The 29-year-old played 100 percent of the team's defensive snaps for the third straight week and has now recorded 35 total tackles, six passes defended and one interception in 13 appearances this season. Moreau will look to build upon this solid performance when the Broncos host the Patriots in a Week 16 matchup.

Broncos' Fabian Moreau: Stepping into larger role
Moreau is expected to make a second straight start at cornerback Sunday versus Kansas City, Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post reports.
After logging just 27 snaps on defense over Denver's first six games of the season, Moreau displaced the struggling Damarri Mathis as a starting boundary corner opposite All-Pro Patrick Surtain in the Broncos' Week 7 win over the Packers. Moreau proceeded to play all 61 of the Broncos' snaps on defense in the victory, recording four tackles and a pass breakup. With Moreau drawing favorable reviews from the coaching staff for his Week 7 performance, he'll take on an expanded role once again Week 8 but draws a much tougher matchup in the form of Patrick Mahomes and the high-powered Chiefs offense.

Broncos' Fabian Moreau: Re-signs with Denver
Moreau agreed to terms with the Broncos on Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports
Moreau was released by Denver just two days prior to rejoining the team. The 29-year-old was brought back after the Broncos placed three players on injured reserve Thursday. Throughout his six-year career, the cornerback has appeared in 90 total games with the Commanders, Falcons and Giants.

The veteran cornerback held steady as the campaign progressed, averaging 5.6 tackles between Weeks 13 and 17 before resting during the Giants' regular-season finale. Moreau began the campaign on New York's practice squad before signing to the active roster in late September and subsequently ascending to a starting role. He'll be a free agent after the season.

Moreau came up one tackle shy of his season high and also tied with linebacker Micah McFadden as the Giants' second-leading tackler behind linebacker Jaylon Smith (10) in Week 16.
