Texans' Maliek Collins: Ruled out for Week 9
Collins (chest) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Eagles.
Collins was unavailable for the Texans' Week 8 matchup against Tennessee and was unable to return to practice this week. While he'll be forced to miss a second consecutive game, he'll have 10 days to recover before Houston takes on the Giants on Nov. 13.

Texans' Maliek Collins: Unlikely for Week 9
Collins (chest) is not expected to suit up Thursday versus the Eagles, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Collins wasn't able to suit up versus the Titans in Week 8, and though he's making progress in his recovery from a chest injury, it looks like he's trending toward a second straight absence. If the veteran defensive tackle is indeed sidelined Thursday, he will then have an additional 10 days to get healthy ahead of Houston's matchup against the Giants on Nov. 13.
