  • Jaguars' Myles Jack: Finishes 2021 with 108 tackles

Jack had five tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 26-11 win over the Colts to close the season with 108 tackles (62 solo) in 15 games.

Jack appeared set for an uptick in production following the departure of Joe Schobert in August, but he saw his production dip by 10 tackles compared to 2020 despite playing in one more contest. The 26-year-old also failed to provide much playmaking with zero sacks, passes defensed, interceptions or forced fumbles despite playing an every-down role. Jack remains under contract for the next two seasons for a total of $22.25 million, but his release would bring only a combined $7.2 million dead cap penalty between the two seasons, so it's possible Jacksonville decides to move on.

  • Jaguars' Myles Jack: Cleared for Week 15

Jack (knee) was a full participant in practice Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Texans.

Jack likely had his reps limited throughout the week as a precaution after playing every defensive snap for the Jaguars last week, but he'll be good to go for this clash between the pair of 2-11 AFC South cellar-dwellers. The productive linebacker has 91 tackles in 12 games played this season, and he has reached 90 stops four times in the past five seasons.

  • Jaguars' Myles Jack: Misses practice

Jack (knee) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice.

Jack did not participate in practice Wednesday after logging all 69 of the Jaguars' defensive snaps in Week 14. The team's leading tackler has missed just one game this season with an oblique issue in Week 6 but has appeared in every game since. If he is unavailable for Sunday's game versus the Texans, backup linebackers Dakota Allen, Shaquille Quarterman and Chapelle Russell could all see increased playing time similar to when Jack was out in Week 6's contest.

  • Jaguars' Myles Jack: Cleared to face Rams

Jack (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Rams.

Jack's absence from practice Wednesday turned out to be precautionary, as he's good to go for Jacksonville's Week 13 road tilt. Fellow inside linebacker Damien Wilson (ankle) will also be available, so Jacksonville will have both of its usual starters at the position on the field at SoFi Stadium.
