  • Packers' Isaac Yiadom: Activated from COVID list

Yiadom (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday.

Yiadom landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list last week but will be available Sunday against the Seahawks following a one-game absence. The 25-year-old has logged just nine tackles (eight solo) to begin the season.

  • Packers' Isaac Yiadom: Moves to COVID list

Yiadom (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

It's unclear whether Yiadom tested positive for the virus or is considered a close contact, but regardless, he'll be away from the team until he clears the necessary protocols. The 25-year-old has seen a diminished defensive role of late and exclusively played special teams Week 8 versus the Cardinals.

  • Packers' Isaac Yiadom: Likely to see more work

Yiadom is likely to start in place of Kevin King (shoulder) in Sunday's matchup against the Bears, Jason Wilde of reports.

Yiadom has seen around 20 defensive snaps per game to this point in the campaign as a rotational corner. However, with King sidelined, Yiadom should be in line for his biggest role of the campaign. Rasul Douglas is also a candidate to see more snaps.

  • Packers' Isaac Yiadom: Shipped to Green Bay

Yiadom was acquired by the Packers from the Giants on Tuesday in exchange for cornerback Josh Jackson, Rob Demovsky of reports.

The two teams will swap depth corners, with Yiadom heading to Green Bay after totaling 46 tackles, a half-sack, a forced fumble and five pass breakups in 16 games last season. He should compete with Chandon Sullivan for a depth role in the Packers' secondary behind Jaire Alexander, Kevin King and rookie first-rounder Eric Stokes.

  • Giants' Isaac Yiadom: Best tackle total of career

Yiadom had 46 tackles (29 solo), 0.5 sacks, five defensed passes and one forced fumble across 16 games with the Giants in 2020.

Yiadom's first season in New York was a successful one, as he put forth the strongest statline of his career while handling 633 defensive snaps. He remains under contract through the 2021 season with the Giants.

  • Giants' Isaac Yiadom: Officially ready for Sunday

Yiadom (calf) is active for Sunday's game versus the Eagles, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Yiadom is expected to start a third straight game at cornerback. Over his previous two starts, the Boston College product posted 14 tackles, a half sack and a pass breakup. His work in coverage has been less appealing this year, however, as he's allowed a 146.2 passer rating and three touchdowns when targeted.

  • Giants' Isaac Yiadom: Trending in right direction

The Giants are optimistic that Yiadom (calf) will play Sunday against the Eagles, Jordan Raanan of reports.

Yiadom is listed as questionable with the calf issue, so it's likely that the cornerback will test the injury in a workout Sunday before the Giants decide on his status. Yiadom has performed well since taking over as a starter in Week 8, supplying 14 tackles (eight solo), 0.5 sack and a pass breakup while playing 100 percent of defensive snaps.

  • Giants' Isaac Yiadom: Likely new starter

Yiadom is warming up with the first-team defense ahead of Sunday's contest against San Francisco, Jordan Raanan of reports.

Adding in the fact that Yiadom outsnapped Corey Ballentine in Week 2, all signs point to Yiadom as the starting corner opposite James Bradberry going forward. Although Yiadom finished with just two solo tackles in last week's loss to Chicago, this news grants a slight uptick for the 24-year-old's IDP value as long as he's in a starting role.

  • Giants' Isaac Yiadom: Sent to New York

Yiadom was traded to the Giants via the Broncos on Wednesday in exchange for a 2021 seventh-round pick, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

The Giants saw both Sam Beal and Shakial Taylor opt out of the 2020 season this offseason, so they chose to boost their cornerback room with Yiadom. The 24-year-old was decent in a mostly starting role for the Broncos in 2020, logging 43 total tackles and four passes defensed across 16 games. He'll likely battle for playing time in a depth fashion to begin the season, with James Bradberry and Corey Ballentine expected to handle starting duties.

  • Broncos' Isaac Yiadom: Ends season with four PDs

Yiadom recorded 43 total tackles and four passes defensed in 2019.

Yiadom began the season as the starter opposite Chris Harris Jr. only to lose the job to DeVante Bausby and, later, Davontae Harris before reclaiming the job at the end of the season. Drafted in 2018 when Denver was a press-man team, Yiadom looked out of place at times in Vic Fangio's scheme. It'll be an interesting offseason for Yiadom and the Broncos' secondary as Bausby (neck) and Bryce Callahan (foot) return from injury and Harris Jr. tests free agency. Depending on who stays, who goes, and who comes in, Yiadom can enter 2020 anywhere from CB3 to off the squad.

  • Broncos' Isaac Yiadom: Will start Sunday

Yiadom will start at cornerback Sunday against the Chargers, Zac Stevens of reports.

Yiadom saw significant snaps during the first two weeks of the season with Devontae Harris out, and now the 23-year-old has bumped Harris from the starting role. The Boston College product has 20 tackles (17 solo) on the season but has yet to register a sack or interception while primarily playing special teams.

  • Broncos' Isaac Yiadom: Posts eight tackles

Yiadom made eight solo tackles in Monday's 24-16 loss to the Raiders.

Yiadom's impressive tackle count is partly attributed to his struggles in coverage, as he struggled to lock down Raiders TE Darren Waller. He'll likely continue to be counted on in coverage until Bryce Callahan (foot) returns, which will likely lead to a battle for snaps between Yiadom, De'Vante Bausby and Davontae Harris.

  • Broncos' Isaac Yiadom: Picks off Jimmy G

Yiadom came up with an interception and passed defensed during Monday's 24-15 preseason loss to the 49ers.

Things fell apart in the second half with the backups on the field, but the Broncos' first-team defense more than held its own against the 49ers' starters, and Yiadom was a big reason why. On the game's opening drive, Jimmy Garoppolo was forced to throw early with Bradley Chubb breathing down his neck, and Yiadom was able to out-wrestle Marquise Goodwin for the ball, setting up a Denver field-goal drive. Veteran teammate Chris Harris Jr. has remarked that Yiadom is more confident now than he was as a rookie. Yiadom figures to play the vast majority of the Broncos' defensive snaps opposite Harris and free-agent pickup Bryce Callahan. Given the recent success of the two veterans, Yiadom should be tested early this season.

  • Broncos' Isaac Yiadom: Participates in offseason program

Yiadom (shoulder) participated in Denver's June minicamp, Andrew Mason of the Broncos' official site reports.

Yiadom was limited for the first week of OTAs in mid-May, but he seems to have made a full recovery from the separated shoulder he sustained late last season. The 2018 third-round pick recorded 20 tackles (17 solo), three pass breakups and an interception over 13 games in a rotational role for Denver in 2018.

  • Broncos' Isaac Yiadom: Limited to start OTAs

Yiadom (shoulder) is expected to be limited for the first week of OTAs, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

Yiadom played through a separated right shoulder over the final few weeks of the season and underwent surgery in the offseason, then participated in individual drills during voluntary workouts in April. The 2018 third-round pick played well as a rookie despite the injury, with 20 tackles (17 solo), three passes defensed and one interception in 13 games.
