Dolphins' Larnel Coleman: Back on the field
Coleman (knee) was able to participate when the Dolphins held open practices earlier this month, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Coleman, who was selected in the seventh round of the 2021 Draft, missed all of last season after suffering a knee injury last August. He underwent surgery on the knee and was placed on IR. Now healthy, Coleman likely will face an uphill battle to make Miami's squad.

Dolphins' Larnel Coleman: Lands on IR
Coleman (knee) was placed on the Dolphins' injured reserve list Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Coleman underwent surgery and will subsequently be placed on injured reserve, ending his season. The seventh-round pick wasn't projected for a major role this year, but it is still a tough blow for a rookie trying to make his mark on the NFL. Greg Little will operate as the primary backp to Austin Jackson during the 2021 campaign.

Dolphins' Larnel Coleman: Set to miss extended time
Coleman (knee) will undergo surgery that is set to keep the rookie out for roughly eight to 12 weeks, Armando Salguero of Outkick.com reports.
With Coleman's injury considered pretty serious, it's possible the offensive lineman could end up on the Dolphins' IR list. The seventh-round pick was not expected to see many snaps this season as he was likely going to sit on the bench behind starter Austin Jackson. If Coleman is able to return this season, don't expect the tackle to see many snaps.

Dolphins' Larnel Coleman: Activated by Dolphins
Coleman was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
The Dolphins never specified whether Coleman tested positive for COVID-19, but he'll be available following a brief absence. The 2021 seventh-rounder started 29 games across four collegiate seasons at Massachusetts and should compete for a depth role ahead of the regular season.

Dolphins' Larnel Coleman: Going to reserve/COVID-19 list
The Dolphins placed Coleman on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
The seventh-round rookie is a raw prospect, but he offers great size at offensive tackle (6-foot-6, 306 pounds). Unfortunately, his move to the COVID-19 list will rob him of some early opportunities to make an impact in training camp.
