Christian Braswell: Gets injury settlement from Jacksonville
The Jaguars waived Braswell (knee) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The settlement allows Braswell to sign with a team once he's fully recovered from a knee injury, though he could opt to return to Jacksonville on the practice squad. He has 19 tackles (12 solo) and three pass defenses across 26 regular-season games since being selected by the Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Jaguars' Christian Braswell: Headed to Jags' IR
Braswell (knee) reverted from waivers to Jacksonville's injured reserve list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Braswell was not claimed by another club after the Jaguars waived him with an injury designation Tuesday, so he's now going to their IR list. He'll have to sit out at least Jacksonville's next four games as he deals with his knee injury.

Braswell missed his first game of the season due to a knee injury in Week 4, and now he'll probably revert to Jacksonville's injured reserve list unless he's claimed by another team during the current waiver period. In corresponding moves, the Jaguars placed safety Caleb Ransaw (knee) on their injured reserve list and signed cornerbacks Jaylon Jones and Alijah Huzzie.

Jaguars' Christian Braswell: Nearing return
Braswell (hamstring) was designated to return from IR on Thursday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Braswell has been on IR since Oct. 14 and hasn't played since Week 4 against the Falcons. He'll now have 21 days to practice with the team and get up to speed before needing to be moved back to the 53-man roster. When healthy, the rookie corner only played on special teams, but depending on how soon he returns, he could step into a larger role with Tre Herndon in concussion protocols and Tyson Campbell dealing with a quadriceps injury.

Braswell has been nursing a hamstring injury that caused him to miss last Sunday's win over Buffalo. The rookie cornerback had already been ruled out of playing Week 6 against Indianapolis before Jacksonville decided to place him on IR. Braswell will now be sidelined until at least Week 11 versus Tennessee.
