Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Grinds way to productive night
Judkins rushed 17 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and brought in six of seven targets for 43 yards in the Browns' 27-24 win over the Steelers on Thursday.
Judkins was in his customary workhorse role in the Browns' ground attack, although as his final rushing line indicates, he found running room hard to come by on most of his carries. Even the second-year back's first rushing touchdown of the season didn't come easy, as Judkins had to power his way in from two yards out in the second quarter. However, he was able to find plenty of success as a receiver, finishing as the team leader in receptions and tying for runner-up status in targets with numbers that also qualified as new career-high figures. Judkins' backfield mates Raheim Sanders and Jaleel McLaughlin combined for just three carries between them -- although the latter took his one tote for a 28-yard touchdown -- so Cleveland's clear lead back will continue to helm the run game in a Week 5 road matchup against the Jets on Sunday, Oct. 11.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Productive in Week 3 win
Judkins rushed 18 times for 70 yards and brought in both targets for nine yards in the Browns' 21-18 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
Judkins took all but one of the Browns' running backs' carries, and he was able to capitalize on an injury-hampered Panthers defense to produce his best showing of the new season. Judkins still finished under 4.0 yards per carry, but after averaging under 3.0 in each of the first two games, Sunday's effort was certainly an improvement. Judkins and the surprising 2-1 Browns now have a quick turnaround for a Week 4 home divisional clash against the Steelers on Thursday night.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Clear of injury report
Judkins (personal) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against Carolina, Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com reports.
Judkins returned to full practice participation Friday after being limited Thursday due to a personal matter. He should be fine to handle his usual role as Cleveland's lead runner Sunday against the Panthers.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Back at practice Friday
Judkins (personal) was in uniform for the start of Friday's practice, Zac Jackson reports.
After being listed as a limited participant Thursday due to a personal matter, Judkins likely will return to full participation Friday. There's been no indication that he's in serious danger of missing Sunday's matchup with Carolina.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Limited for personal reasons Thursday
Judkins (personal) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
It's unclear what personal matter kept Judkins from practicing without limitations Thursday, but Cleveland's starting running back isn't dealing with an injury. If Judkins can get back to full participation Friday, he'll likely avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Raheim Sanders and Jaleel McLaughlin are the healthy alternatives in Cleveland's backfield since Dylan Sampson (knee) is on IR.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Inefficient with 17 touches
Judkins rushed 12 times for 21 yards and brought in all five targets for 27 yards in the Browns' 23-19 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Judkins once again handled a clear No. 1 role in Cleveland's ground attack, but he unsurprisingly found running room at a premium against the Buccaneers' stout defensive front. The second-year back was able to make up for the lack of rushing production to an extent with his work as a receiver, which saw him tie for the second-most receptions on the afternoon for the Browns. Judkins is averaging a meager 2.3 yards per carry through the first two games, but he has a useful 7-44-0 receiving line on seven targets in that same span as a Week 3 home matchup against the Panthers approaches next Sunday.

Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Tallies 50 total yards in loss
Judkins rushed 12 times for 33 yards and brought in both targets for 17 yards in the Browns' 34-10 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Judkins operated as the unquestioned lead back for the Browns as expected, yet his opportunities on the ground were limited overall thanks to a game script that saw Cleveland already down 24-0 at the half. Judkins unsurprisingly found running room difficult to come by when he did carry the ball, but he was efficient with his pair of receptions. Judkins could face loaded defensive fronts most weeks if the Browns' quarterback play doesn't improve, and a Week 2 road matchup against the Buccaneers next Sunday doesn't offer much promise on paper.
