  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Catches three passes in win

Bateman caught three of six targets for 29 yards in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Bears.

Bateman played 70 percent of the Ravens' offensive snaps with Marquise Brown (thigh) sidelined. The rookie wideout failed to capitalize on his increased playing time as the entire offense was ineffective with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley starting in place of Lamar Jackson (illness). Bateman has yet to put together a true breakout performance in his first season, but the 21-year-old will have a chance to bounce back when the Ravens host the Browns in Week 12.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Cleared to play

Bateman (illness) doesn't carry an injury designation in advance of Sunday's game against the Bears after practicing fully Friday, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The same applies to QB Lamar Jackson (illness), which sets the stage for the ascending rookie wideout to suit up this weekend against 3-6 Chicago. In the process, Bateman should continue to see his share of looks in the Baltimore passing offense after having logged eight targets in each of his last two games, resulting in 11 catches for 132 yards in that span .

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Working at Friday's practice

Bateman (illness) is participating at Friday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Bateman was added to the injury report Thursday as a non-participant, but he's back on the field Friday for Baltimore. The quick return indicates the illness isn't a serious concern, and the rookie first-round pick appears on track to play Sunday at Chicago.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Sits out Thursday's practice

Bateman missed Thursday's practice due to an illness, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Bateman practiced fully Wednesday, but the wideout's addition to the Ravens' injury report Thursday makes his status for Sunday's game against the Bears worth tracking. Meanwhile, QB Lamar Jackson missed his second straight session due to a non-COVID-19-related illness. Friday's looming status report will reveal whether Bateman and/or Jackson are in line to head into the weekend fully cleared to play or carrying a Week 11 designation.

  • Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Paces pass catchers in loss

Bateman secured six of eight targets for 80 yards in the Ravens' 22-10 loss to the Dolphins on Thursday night. He also recovered a fumble.

Bateman continued his quick ascent by co-leading the Ravens in receptions and pacing the club in receiving yardage as well. The rookie also alertly pounced on a Marquise Brown fumble to allow Baltimore to keep possession and continues to carve out a larger role by the week. Bateman now has eight targets in back-to-back contests and no fewer than six in any of his four games. A Week 11 road matchup against the Bears a week from Sunday will offer the opportunity for Bateman to up his catch total from that of the prior game for the third straight contest.
