Patriots' Christian Barmore: Won't play Week 4
Barmore (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Patriots' Christian Barmore: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Barmore (shoulder) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Barmore sustained a shoulder injury during the Patriots' 35-6 loss to the Jaguars in Week 3, finishing with only two tackles (one solo) while playing a season-low 28 defensive snaps. He'll have two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Bills. If Barmore is not cleared to play, then Joshua Farmer and Jeremiah Pharms would both be in line for larger roles against Buffalo.

Barmore (knee) was a full participant in New England's practice Monday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Patriots' Christian Barmore: DNP on Sunday
Barmore (knee) did not participate in Sunday's practice.
Barmore missed Sunday's practice with a new issue. The defensive tackle was injured close to Wednesday's NFL opener against the Seahawks. Unless the injury is more of a vet rest thing than a true knee issue, there is a solid chance that Barmore could miss Week 1.

Patriots' Christian Barmore: Has healthy 2025 campaign
Barmore played in all 17 of New England's regular-season games in 2025, making 16 starts and finishing with 29 tackles, including 2.0 sacks.
Barmore played in only four games in 2024 due to a medical issue involving blood clots. Fortunately, that problem appears to have been resolved given his ability to play in all 21 of the Patriots' contests (including the playoffs) this past year. Barmore signed a four-year contract extension in April of 2024, so he should be back as a key piece of New England's defensive line next season.
