Giants' Tyler Nubin: Moved to IR
The Giants moved Nubin (neck) to injured reserve Saturday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Nubin has not been able to practice since sustaining a neck injury after the Giants' loss to the Vikings in Week 16. The safety's move to IR will end his season since the Giants have been eliminated from playoff contention. Nubin finishes the season with 78 tackles (49 solo) and two passes defensed through 13 games.

Giants' Tyler Nubin: Not going to play Week 17
Nubin (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's battle against the Raiders.
Nubin had a big game this past Sunday against Minnesota, as he scored his first career touchdown on a fumble recovery. However, he's dealt with a neck injury this week and hasn't been able to practice in any capacity. With Nubin out Sunday, Dane Belton and Jevon Holland should be the Giants' starting safeties.

Nubin is listed as DNP on Thursday's estimated practice report due to a neck injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
This is the second straight day Nubin has been labeled DNP, so his status for Sunday's matchup against Las Vegas is up in the air. The second-year safety will likely need to practice in some capacity Friday to have a realistic chance of taking the field in Week 17. Nubin notched his first career NFL touchdown last week against Minnesota when he scooped up a fumble and returned it for a score.

Nubin recorded six tackles (four solo) and returned a fumble for a touchdown in the Giants' loss versus the Vikings on Sunday.
Nubin found the end zone for the first time in his career when he returned a J.J. McCarthy fumble for a touchdown late in the second quarter of the loss. The 2024 second-round pick will look to build on this performance and keep producing at a high level across the team's final two games of the season.

If Nubin is able to practice without any restrictions Friday, he could still manage to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Commanders without an injury designation.
