Giants' Darius Alexander: Records first full sacks of career
Alexander tallied four tackles, including 2.0 sacks, in Sunday's overtime loss to Detroit.
Alexander came into Sunday's contest with just a half-sack through his first 10 NFL games. He built upon that number considerably with a full sack of Jared Goff in each of the first and second quarters. Alexander also logged a season-high 51 percent defensive snap share, and his performance Sunday could help him earn more playing time moving forward.

Giants' Darius Alexander: Won't make NFL debut vs. WAS
Alexander (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The rookie third-rounder will be in street clothes for Sunday's regular-season opener, which leaves D.J. Davidson and Elijah Garcia to serve in rotation on the Giants' defensive line behind Rakeem Nunez-Roches, Dexter Lawrence and Roy Robertson-Harris. Alexander's next opportunity to make his NFL regular-season debut is Week 2 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Sept. 14 in Dallas.

Giants' Darius Alexander: Full-go to begin camp
Alexander practiced at full capacity Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Alexander was selected in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft but was sidelined during OTAs with an undisclosed injury. Positively, he's back on the field for the start of his first training camp, and he should be in line for a significant role along the Giants' defensive line to begin his pro career.

Giants' Darius Alexander: Not participating in OTAs
Alexander (undisclosed) worked on the side with trainers during Thursday's OTA session, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Per Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, coach Brian Daboll didn't comment on Alexander's status, with the team's OTAs slated to resume June 9. The 2025 third-rounder has size (6-foot-4, 305 pounds) and athleticism (4.95-second 40-yard dash, 31.5-inch vertical jump), though he didn't start until his fifth season at Toledo in college. In the pros, he'll have a chance for at least a rotational role once he can get on the field.

Giants' Darius Alexander: Giants add athletic Round 3 tackle
The Giants selected Alexander in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 65th overall.
Alexander (6-foot-4, 305 pounds) is very athletic yet never produced at Toledo like you would expect of a someone with his athletic talent. Alexander didn't earn a starting role until his fifth season, which is basically a red flag and undercuts his otherwise impressive athletic testing (4.95-second 40-yard dash, 31.5-inch vertical jump). The Giants will hope that Alexander is simply a late bloomer, though at worst he should be a productive rotational lineman thanks to his measurables.
