Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Misses Thursday practice
Bigsby (hamstring) didn't participate in Thursday's practice.
Bigsby was spotted in sweats during the open portion of Thursday's session, and now the reason for his absence has become known. Both Bigsby and fellow reserve RB Will Shipley (foot) were DNPs to kick off Week 3 prep, while Saquon Barkley, who suffered a stinger this past Sunday in Tennessee, was limited. Because all three are banged up to some extent at this point in the week, the overall situation will be watched to get a sense of who among the three may be able to play Monday at Chicago.

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Gets into end zone in Sunday's win
Bigsby carried the ball 13 times for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Titans. He also caught both his targets for five yards.
The fourth-year RB got the Eagles on the board in the second quarter with a two-yard TD plunge, and Bigsby led the backfield in totes and rushing yards after Saquon Barkley picked up a stinger on the first play from scrimmage. Barkley was able to return after halftime, but he'll be sent for further testing and isn't guaranteed to be 100 percent for a Week 3 road trip to Chicago. If he's sidelined or has his workload scaled back, Bigsby would be poised to benefit.

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Little action in Week 1 win
Bigsby recorded a three-yard carry and returned two kickoffs for 50 yards during the Eagles' 24-22 win over the Commanders on Sunday.
Bigsby entered the regular season as the RB2 on the Eagles' depth chart, though he played only six offensive snaps Sunday, third most among Philadelphia running backs behind Saquon Barkley (39) and Will Shipley (10). Bigsby also played 11 snaps on special teams, and he figures to see most of his playing time as a returner, though that would quickly change if Barkley were to miss time.

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Plays 10 preseason snaps
Bigsby played 10 offensive snaps this preseason before being rested for the final two exhibition contests.
The fact he was rested for Weeks 2 and 3 of the preseason while Will Shipley played would suggest Bigsby has a firm grip on RB2 duties in Philadelphia behind Saquon Barkley. Barkley is entering his age-29 season with plenty of miles on his proverbial tires, and there's been talk out of Philly that the team wants to get Bigsby more involved to keep Barkley fresh. If something were to happen to him injury-wise, Bigsby would immediately enter the fantasy RB1 conversation in the Eagles' run-heavy offense that features one of the league's best offensive lines, making him the premier bench stash headed into the 2026 campaign.

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Returns to practice Wednesday
Bigsby (toe) will participate in Wednesday's practice, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Bigsby was sidelined for Monday's session due to a toe injury, but he may have sat out for maintenance purposes more than anything after he drew the start out of the backfield in place of a resting Saquon Barkley in Saturday's 24-7 loss to the Ravens in the preseason opener. According to EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Bigsby isn't listed among the limited participants in Wednesday's practice, so he's presumably in line to take part in every drill.

Bigsby won't practice Monday due to a toe injury, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
Bigsby started Saturday's preseason game in Baltimore with No. 1 RB Saquon Barkley getting the day off, but the former managed just five yards on two carries and didn't haul in his only target. Now with an injury in tow, Bigsby will join backfield mate Dameon Pierce (hamstring) on the sideline, leaving Will Shipley, Carson Steele and Ja'Quinden Jackson as the healthy reserves at the position behind Barkley.

Bigsby rushed twice for five yards and failed to bring in his only target in the Eagles' 24-7 preseason loss to the Ravens on Saturday.
The Eagles' projected No. 2 back opened the game with the first-team offense since Saquon Barkley was unsurprisingly inactive. Bigsby touched the ball on Philadelphia's first play from scrimmage and posted a seven-yard run, yet that was wiped out by an offensive holding penalty. The fifth-year pro had a quiet and relatively brief night overall after that point, but all indications point to Bigsby having the primary backup role to Barkley locked up to open the regular season.
