Vikings' Jordan Addison: Will be Vikes' top WR for Week 4
Addison will serve as the Vikings' top wide receiver against the Dolphins on Sunday due to the absence of Justin Jefferson (ankle), Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Jefferson injured his ankle during the first half of the Vikings' Week 3 win over the Buccaneers. That allowed Addison to take over as the WR1, and he finished that game with five catches (on nine targets) for 90 yards and a touchdown. The Dolphins have been a top-5 defense against wide receivers this season, but Addison should still see a healthy amount of targets from Kyler Murray in Jefferson's absence, with Jauan Jennings, Tai Felton and tight end T.J. Hockenson also in the mix for more passes.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Records first TD of season
Addison hauled in five of nine targets for 90 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 23-16 victory at Tampa Bay.
Serving as the Vikings' de facto No. 1 wide receiver after Justin Jefferson (ankle) exited in the first half and didn't return, Addison parlayed the opportunity into his productive performance of the young campaign. In particular, Addison connected with QB Kyler Murray for a 41-yard TD (his first of the season) with less than five minutes left in the second quarter. Head coach Kevin O'Connell told Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune afterward that Minnesota isn't too worried about Jefferson's health concern, so even if he's able to suit up next Sunday versus the Dolphins, Addison could hold more sway in the offense if Jefferson isn't 100 percent.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Two catches in rain-soaked victory
Addison caught two of five targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Bears.
Addison was able to secure his first two catches of the season. There was consistent rain throughout the entire contest, making it incredibly difficult for either side to get into any sort of groove through the air, but Addison's five targets were second only to Justin Jefferson (six) on the Vikings. The team will travel to Tampa Bay in Week 3, and it's possible that the offense could get a boost with quarterback Kyler Murray (concussion) on track to return.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: No catches in Week 1
Addison failed to record a catch on two targets in Sunday's 39-22 win over the Packers.
Addison was second on the team with his 28 routes, but his two targets were a distant fourth on the Vikings, trailing Justin Jefferson (nine), T.J. Hockenson (five) and Josh Oliver (four). Kyler Murray (concussion) was knocked out of the game in the first half, giving way to Carson Wentz, who had eyes for Jefferson and his tight ends. Addison gets a great on-paper matchup with the Bears' leaky secondary next Sunday, but the wideout will be hard to trust for fantasy lineups.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Makes impressive grab in final practice
Addison provided one of the highlights of the day during the Vikings' final training camp practice Aug. 26, connecting with quarterback Kyler Murray on a toe-dragging, sideline catch, Andrew Krammer of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
Along with most of the Vikings' other key starters, Addison was rested for the final two preseason contests, but he was taking regular reps with the first-team offense throughout camp and will be ready to go for Week 1 against the Packers. As was the case for nearly every Minnesota pass catcher last season, Addison saw his production crater as a result of suspect quarterback play from J.J. McCarthy, Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer, but his fantasy outlook should be improved heading into 2026 while Murray steps in as the Vikings' new starter under center. Over his first two NFL seasons, Addison averaged 4.2 receptions, 55.8 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game while Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold served as the Vikings' primary quarterbacks.
