Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Placed on injured reserve
The Cardinals placed Dortch (chest) on injured reserve Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Dortch thus will miss at least the next four games due to the chest injury that didn't allow him to practice at all during Week 14 prep, meaning his next possible chance to play this season is Week 18 at the Rams. With Marvin Harrison (heel) out for Sunday's game against the Rams and all of Dortch, Zay Jones (Achilles) and Simi Fehoko (wrist) on IR, Arizona's available wide receivers will be Michael Wilson, Andre Baccellia and practice-squad elevations Trent Sherfield and Jalen Brooks, while Xavier Weaver (hamstring) is questionable to suit up.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Ruled out with chest injury
Dortch (chest) and Marvin Harrison (heel) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Dortch would've been in line for a significant role in Harrison's absence, which means the Cardinals are instead left with the likes of Andre Baccellia and Xavier Weaver (hamstring) behind Michael Wilson. It helps that TE Trey McBride is a de facto No. 1 receiver, but the lack of depth could make things tricky for QB Jacoby Brissett against a tough Rams defense.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: No practice again Thursday
Dortch (chest) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Both Marvin Harrison (heel) and Dortch haven't been able to mix into drills this week, giving them one more chance Friday to do so or else be at risk of being unavailable Sunday against the Rams. Dortch served as the No. 2 WR when Harrison was sidelined Weeks 11 and 12 following an appendectomy, a span in which he hauled in 12 of 15 targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns. If Dortch is able to practice Friday, he could put himself in a position to fill in for Harrison along with Michael Wilson, assuming Harrison is trending toward more missed time.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Dealing with chest injury
Dortch (chest) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Dortch joined No. 1 WR Marvin Harrison (heel) as one of eight Cardinals to not practice to kick off Week 14 prep, with the former's reason going down as a chest injury. There's been chatter that Harrison is in danger of missing time again after sitting out Weeks 11 and 12 following an appendectomy, while it's unknown if Dortch also is a candidate to be inactive Sunday versus the Rams. Ultimately, Friday's injury report may make a ruling on the statuses of both Harrison and Dortch, but for the time being, Michael Wilson, Xavier Weaver and Andre Baccellia are the healthy options at the position on Arizona's active roster.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Catches two passes in loss
Dortch caught both of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Buccaneers.
Although Jacoby Brissett threw the ball 40 times in the Week 13 loss, Dortch saw minimal usage due to the return of Marvin Harrison. The Wake Forest product has now caught 29 of 33 targets for 206 yards and three touchdowns while also taking seven carries for 15 yards and a score through the Cardinals' first 12 games. He's expected to play a small offensive role and operate as Arizona's top return man in the Week 14 matchup against the Rams.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Nets another TD in Week 12
Dortch recorded six catches (on nine targets) for 53 yards and one touchdown, took two carries for minus-5 yards and returned five kickoffs for 127 yards during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Jaguars.
After a mostly quiet first half of the campaign, Dortch has awakened over the last two games with No. 1 WR Marvin Harrison sidelined due to a bout of appendicitis. While position mate Michael Wilson has benefited most with back-to-back outings with 10-plus catches and 100 or more yards, Dortch has made his mark in the box score with a cumulative 12-119-2 line on 15 targets during that same span. Dortch wasn't doing much before a 39-yard catch-and-run for a TD in the middle of the third quarter, but it marked QB Jacoby Brissett's only scoring strike of Week 12. The Cardinals next take to the road against the Buccaneers next Sunday, and Dortch will continue to have an increased role if Harrison again is unavailable.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Records six catches, TD in Week 11
Dortch hauled in all six of his targets for 66 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 41-22 defeat to the 49ers.
His season-high 66 percent snap share was a byproduct of Marvin Harrison sitting out due to an appendectomy, and Dortch also added 130 return yards on three kick returns and a pair of punt returns. Dortch was a distant second to Michael Wilson (15-185-0 on 18 targets, 82 percent share) in volume, but that duo, along with Xavier Weaver (2-15-0 on a 72 percent share), figure to be QB Jacoby Brissett's top options at wide receiver for as long as Harrison is sidelined.

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Finds end zone in loss
Dortch caught all three of his targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Colts.
Dortch's trip to the end zone was his first touchdown of the 2025 campaign. The 27-year-old wideout's 44 percent offensive snap share was his second highest mark of the season, likely due to teammate Marvin Harrison leaving the game early due to a concussion suffered in the second quarter of the contest. Despite scoring his first touchdown of the season and playing more snaps in Week 6, Dortch remains very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes, even if Harrison is sidelined for a Week 7 matchup against the Packers.
