Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Upgrades to full Thursday
Lloyd (chest) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Lloyd upgraded to a full participant in practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday. The middle linebacker picked up a chest injury in last Sunday's win against the Titans, but has just as quickly shaken the injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. The starter suiting up likely extinguishes any hopes Ventrell Miller may have had about an increased defensive snap share this coming week.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Working through chest injury
Lloyd (chest) was limited in practice Wednesday.
Lloyd started, as usual, this past Sunday against the Titans and tied his season-high mark with eight tackles, but he appears to have picked up a chest injury as well. At this point there's no indication that the issue is serious, though Lloyd may need to log at least one full practice session over the next two days to avoid entering the weekend with an injury designation. Ventrell Miller would figure to absorb most of Lloyd's defensive snaps if the latter isn't able to play Sunday versus the Colts.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Gets after quarterback
Lloyd recorded five tackles (three solo), including 1.5 sacks, in Sunday's 27-24 overtime win against the Cardinals.
Lloyd had a quiet game from purely a tackle perspective and was surprisingly limited to only 76 percent of defensive snaps. However, he made up for that with the sack and half-sack in the second half, both of which led to punts. Lloyd has only seven stops combined across his last two games, so his trajectory will be worth monitoring.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Racks up eight stops in Week 10
Lloyd finished Sunday's loss to the Texans with eight tackles (two solo).
Lloyd's tackle total was third-most on the Jaguars and tied a season-high mark. The fourth-year linebacker has recorded 36 tackles and four defensed passes, including an interception, through seven games on the season.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Full participant in practice
Lloyd (calf) was a full participant in Jacksonville's practice Wednesday.
Lloyd sat out the past two games with a calf injury but is now healthy again. The 2022 first-round pick should return to his role as the team's starting middle linebacker for Sunday's matchup versus Houston.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Inactive for Week 9
Lloyd (calf) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Lloyd wasn't expected to play versus Las Vegas, and the fourth-year linebacker will indeed miss a second consecutive game due to a calf injury. Ventrell Miller will see an increased workload on defense in Lloyd's absence.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Likely out for Week 9
Lloyd (calf) is not expected to play Sunday against the Raiders, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The starting middle linebacker entered the weekend with a questionable tag after getting in limited practices all week and missing the Jaguars' Week 7 contest against the Rams. The bye week in between was apparently not enough to help him get ready in time to play this week. Ventrell Miller is Lloyd's backup.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Questionable to play Week 9
Lloyd (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Paul Gutierrez of Raiders.com reports.
Lloyd was unable to play against the Rams in Week 7 due to a calf injury, but he's had additional time to recover courtesy of the Week 8 bye. He was limited in practice all week to get the questionable tag, and his return would result in less defensive snaps available for Ventrell Miller. Lloyd's official status for Week 9 may not be known until the Jaguars announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Still tending to calf issue
Lloyd (calf) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Lloyd sat out the Jaguars' last game before their Week 8 bye versus the Rams due to a calf injury, and now he's in danger of being sidelined for Week 9 action as well. He'll likely need to participate fully in practice Thursday or Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Ruled out for Week 7
Lloyd (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams.
Lloyd played just 27 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday against the Seahawks, and the calf injury would seem to explain why. Ventrell Miller was the beneficiary of Lloyd's absence and would be the likely frontrunner to fill Lloyd's role against the Rams.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: Just three tackles in Week 6
Lloyd tallied three total tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Seahawks.
Following an impressive Week 5 performance in which Lloyd tallied two solo tackles and a 99-yard pick-six, he played just 14 defensive snaps in Sunday's loss. The 2022 first-round pick from Utah has now recorded 28 total tackles and four interceptions over 246 defensive snaps through the Jags' first six games this season. Although he had an underwhelming Week 6 showing, Lloyd is expected to start alongside Foyesade Oluokun in Jacksonville's linebacker corps in the Week 7 matchup against the Rams.

Jaguars' Devin Lloyd: 99-yard pick-six in MNF victory
Lloyd recorded two tackles (two solo) and one interception, which he returned 99 yards for a touchdown, in the Jaguars' 31-28 win over the Chiefs on Monday night.
Lloyd opened the season in a part-time role but has played more than 90 percent of the defensive snaps across the last two games and now leads the NFL with four interceptions. His 99-yard pick-six off Patrick Mahomes on Monday flipped the game on its head and gave the Jaguars a 21-14 lead after it appeared Kansas City was on its way to taking a third-quarter lead. On the season, Lloyd has recorded 25 tackles (14 solo), four interceptions and one fumble recovery on 72 percent of the defensive snaps.
