Cardinals' Bam Knight: Abysmal showing Sunday
Knight was held to 16 yards on seven carries while catching three of six targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 45-17 loss to the Rams.
Knight failed to take advantage of lead-back duties with both Trey Benson (knee) and Emari Demercado (ankle) still missing Sunday. The 24-year-old Knight struggled to generate much running room early on, then fell victim to the blowout game script in the second half. The journeyman backup failed to mask his poor production with a trip to the end zone like we saw in Weeks 11 and 12. With the aforementioned teammates potentially nearing returns, Knight's brief run of fantasy utility could come to a close in short order, assuming it hasn't run dry already.

Cardinals' Bam Knight: Receiving TD in Sunday's loss
Knight rushed 11 times for 62 yards and brought in all three targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 20-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Knight was the clear lead back due to Emari Demercado (ankle) being sidelined, and the 24-year-old put together a season-high yardage total while logging double-digit carries for the second straight game and fifth time in the last seven contests overall. Knight also averaged a season-high 5.6 yards per carry, and he recorded the first receiving touchdown of his career on a 15-yard grab during a broken play late in the third quarter. As Jess Root of USA Today notes, Knight didn't see the field after the 10:46 mark in the fourth quarter, though that may have been a byproduct of Arizona favoring its passing-down personnel featuring Michael Carter in the backfield. Knight had been nursing a knee injury coming into Sunday, so his practice activity may be worth keeping an eye on during Week 14 prep. Even if his knee doesn't prove to be a concern, Knight could still be in line for a lightened workload next Sunday versus the Rams if Trey Benson (knee) is cleared to return from injured reserve.

Knight has battled lower-body injuries at times over the last month and a half, with a knee issue limiting him at all three Week 13 sessions and leaving him questionable for Sunday's contest. Now that he's confirmed to be available, he appears poised to get a majority share of the Cardinals' backfield reps considering Trey Benson (knee) remains on injured reserve and Emari Demercado is sitting out a second straight game due to a high-ankle sprain. Over the last five outings with various RB personnel available for Arizona, Knight has tallied 221 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs on 62 touches. Michael Carter is Knight's greatest threat to take on snaps.

Knight was limited in all three practices this week while managing the knee issue, but he looks like he'll be cleared to play in advance of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. With Trey Benson (knee) and Emari Demercado (ankle) ruled out for Week 13, Knight now is the only question mark among the Cardinals' running backs that are dealing with injuries. Knight's knee issue limited him in all three practices this week, and his status will be clarified about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Assuming he's able to suit up this weekend, he and Michael Carter likely will split the backfield reps in some fashion, but Jermar Jefferson also may be on hand for his first touch of the season.

Knight dealt with an ankle issue in advance of the previous two games, but he was active for both and combined for 23 touches for 77 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs. With a new health concern in tow, his activity level in practice remained the same Wednesday, while backfield mate Trey Benson (knee) also was limited, and Emari Demercado stayed sidelined due to a high-ankle sprain. Cardinals' Bam Knight: Cashes in early TD
Knight rushed 10 times for 12 yards and a touchdown while catching four of five targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 27-24 overtime loss to the Jaguars.
Knight overcame a minor ankle injury in order to serve as the Cardinals' lead back sans Trey Benson (knee) and Emari Demercado (ankle). The 24-year-old Knight struggled with his efficiency yet again, but he managed to reward committed fantasy managers by punching in Arizona's only rushing score of the contest. Backup Michael Carter (5-28-0) finished as the team's leading rusher on half as many carries as Knight received, as the team continues to deploy multiple backs to help replace the early-season loss of James Conner (ankle). It will be important to monitor both Benson's and Demercado's status prior to next Sunday's tilt against Tampa Bay, as the return of either tailback could noticeably eat into Knight's potential workload in Week 13. It is also worth noting that Knight appeared to be tending to a lower leg injury late in Sunday's loss, so he may pop back up on the injury report early in the upcoming practice week.

Arizona welcomed back Trey Benson to practice for the first time since late September after the team designated him to return from injured reserve Wednesday. Benson has been sidelined in the meantime following surgery on a meniscus injury in his knee, a span in which a combination of Knight, Emari Demercado and Michael Carter have all filled in in the backfield in some capacity. Demercado already has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Jaguars due to a high-ankle sprain, and a new health concern for Knight further clouds the Cardinals' potential Week 12 backfield. As such, the situation bears watching as the week continues to see if Benson is activated from IR, and if Knight can avoid a designation going into the weekend. At the moment, Carter is the only healthy RB on the active roster.

Cardinals' Bam Knight: Scores only rushing TD for ARZ
Knight (ankle) rushed five times for 24 yards and a touchdown while adding four receptions for 21 yards in Sunday's 41-22 loss to the 49ers.
Knight was a limited participant in practice all week with a bum ankle, but he was able to suit up Sunday and finish as the Cardinals' leading rusher. The 24-year-old outproduced Emari Demercado (5-8-0), who sustained an ankle injury during the contest, which is the inverse of how the backfield mates had performed in recent weeks. Michael Carter remained involved with 28 combined yards on seven touches, making this a truly frustrating committee to predict on a weekly basis. The fact that Knight started and scored Arizona's only rushing score of the contest makes him the preferred fantasy option by default heading into next Sunday's tilt against Jacksonville.
