Hornets' Coby White: Ruled out for season opener

White (calf) is out for Wednesday's season opener against the Nets.

Larsson (illness) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

Adebayo missed the Heat's final three preseason games with right groin tightness, though the star big man is set to play in the team's regular-season opener. Over 73 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, he averaged 20.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 combined steals-plus-blocks in 32.4 minutes per contest. He's finished with regular-season averages of at least 18 points and nine rebounds per game in six straight years.

Heat's Dru Smith: Available for Wednesday

Smith (calf) is available for Wednesday's season opener versus Minnesota.

Smith has made good progress with a right calf strain and is ready to roll for Opening Night. He's set to be the No. 2 point guard off the bench behind Davion Mitchell on Wednesday.

  • Heat's Vladislav Goldin: Questionable with ankle sprain

Goldin is questionable for Wednesday's season opener against Minnesota with a right ankle sprain.

Goldin is in danger of missing the start of the new year. His status should have little to no effect on the Miami rotation Wednesday.

The Grizzlies exercised their third-year team option on Coward's contract Tuesday.

Thiero missed Los Angeles' final two preseason outings and also sat out Monday's practice with an undisclosed injury. The Lakers will release their injury report for Wednesday's regular-season opener against Golden State by Tuesday night, but for now, the 22-year-old can be considered questionable.

  • Cameron Carr SG | LAL

Lakers' Cameron Carr: Still not practicing

Carr (undisclosed) didn't practice Tuesday, per Law Murray of The Athletic.

The rookie guard continues to nurse a contusion. His status remains in the dark for Wednesday's season opener against the Warriors.

  • Bronny James PG | LAL

    Lakers' Bronny James: Practices Tuesday

James (illness) participated in Tuesday's practice, Dan Woike of The Athletic reports.

James was excused from Monday's practice due to an illness, though he appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Wednesday's regular-season opener against Golden State. However, the 22-year-old's absence wouldn't figure to impact the rotation.
