  • Bills' Mack Hollins: Joining Buffalo

Hollins agreed to a contract with the Bills on Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Hollins enjoyed a mini-breakout for the Raiders in 2022 with 690 receiving yards -- more than tripling his previous season high -- but then dropped to 251 yards in 13 games with the Falcons in 2023. Though he's valued for his blocking and special teams contributions as much as his receiving ability, Hollins could take some of the snaps and targets that previously went to Gabe Davis, who is leaving Buffalo to sign with Jacksonville. In any case, it's almost a certainty the Bills will be targeting a wide receiver with an early pick in April's draft.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Ends 2023 poorly

Hollins finished 2023 with 18 receptions on 30 targets for 251 yards across 13 appearances.

After a breakout 2022 with the Raiders (57 receptions for 690 yards and four touchdowns -- all career highs), Hollins landed a one-year deal with Atlanta last offseason and was expected to be the No. 2 option behind Drake London. Over his first nine appearances of 2023, Hollins caught 17 of 29 targets for 247 yards, but his playing time started to dwindle before he missed four out of five games between Weeks 10 and 15 due to an ankle injury. He made one appearance during that stretch, catching his lone target for four yards. Hollins played 45 snaps over the final three weeks but didn't generate a single target. Hollins is one of numerous wideouts set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so the Falcons, who'll have a new head coach after Arthur Smith was fired immediately after the blowout Week 18 loss to New Orleans, may opt to completely revamp their pass-catching corps again in 2024.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Scratched Sunday

Hollins (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Sunday's tilt against the Panthers.

Hollins returned from a three-game absence to play six offensive snaps (nine percent) and 15 on special teams (47 percent) en route to one reception for four yards in Week 14. However, Atlanta will opt to go with thin depth at receiver in Week 14 in favor of more depth elsewhere.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Targeted once against Buccaneers

Hollins reeled in his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 29-25 loss to the Buccaneers.

Hollins played just six of the Falcons' 72 offensive snaps Sunday, the least of any Atlanta pass catcher. The veteran wideout exited the contest in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but he was able to return to the game. Hollins had missed the previous three games due to an ankle injury, so it's promising that he was able to play through the issue against the Buccaneers. In the 10 games he's played, the 28-year-old has recorded just 18 receptions for 251 yards. Hollins should remain far off the fantasy radar when the Falcons visit the Panthers in Week 15.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Back in action against Tampa Bay

Hollins has returned to Sunday's Week 14 contest against the Buccaneers after departing earlier due to an ankle injury, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.

Hollins has been battling an ankle issue since early November and missed three games due to the injury. He departed in the first quarter of Sunday's contest and was initially labeled as questionable to return but has since reentered the game. Hollins hasn't exceeded three catches in any game this season, making him a fantasy option only in very deep leagues.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Questionable to return

Hollins (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.

The wide receiver was questionable with the same injury going into the day. Hollins did not record a catch before exiting. The veteran has 17 catches for 247 yards and no touchdowns in 2023.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Will play Sunday

Hollins (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

As expected, Hollins has been cleared to suit up for the first time since Week 9. However, his role remains a mystery. Hollins opened the season as the No. 2 wideout behind Drake London, but his role was decreasing before his multi-week absence. With Hollins sidelined, Van Jefferson, KhaDarel Hodge and Scott Miller were splitting snaps, but they were unable to deliver consistent production. Hollins should see the field in Week 14, but he'll likely need to find the end zone to submit a quality fantasy performance.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Technically questionable, should play

Hollins (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, despite being a full practice participant Wednesday through Friday.

Hollins is on track to play for the first time since Week 9, though he may not take a lot of snaps and probably won't see many targets even if he does. The Falcons have rotated wide receivers behind Drake London in recent weeks, with Van Jefferson typically getting the most snaps but having minimal impact on the box scores.

  • Falcons' Mack Hollins: Gets back to full participation

Hollins (ankle) logged a full practice Wednesday, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports.

After sprinkling three limited sessions over the previous two weeks, Hollins finally returned to full activity to start Week 14 prep and thus appears ready for his first game action since Week 9, when he initially suffered an ankle injury. Prior to his recent three-game absence, Hollins was a bit player in the Falcons' passing attack, compiling a 17-247-0 receiving line on 29 targets in nine appearances this season.
