Titans' Arden Key: Out for season finale
Key (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
With Key out, Jaylen Harrell and Ali Gaye should get some extra reps off the edge for the Titans in the Week 18 finale. It will be Key's first missed game of the season, and he'll close out the 2024 campaign with 42 tackles (24 solo), including 11 TFLs and a career-best 6.5 sacks, 15 QB hits, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery across 16 contests. Key has one year left on a three-year, $21 million deal that carries a $9.3 million cap hit for 2025.

Titans' Arden Key: Logs full practice Thursday
Key (back) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's injury report, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
Key was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's practice report due to a back injury, but it doesn't appear to be a lingering issue as he was listed as a full participant for Thursday's session. In the seven regular-season games since the Titans' Week 5 bye, Key has logged 20 tackles (15 solo), including 5.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Titans' Arden Key: Logs DNP on Wednesday
Key didn't practice Wednesday due to a back injury, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Key appears to have picked up this back injury in the Titans' Week 12 win over the Texans despite playing 83 percent of the team's defensive snaps and recording two total tackles. The veteran pass rusher almost certainly needs to upgrade to at least limited practice participation Thursday or Friday in order to suit up for Sunday's contest in Washington.
