Lions' Jack Fox: Extends deal with Detroit
Fox agreed Saturday with the Lions on a three-year, $11.33 million contract extension, ESPN.com reports.
Fox was set to become a restricted free agent in 2023, but the new deal keeps the third-year punter with the Lions through the 2026 season. Fox ranks 10th in the NFL with an average of 48.7 yards per punt.

Lions' Jack Fox: Inks ERFA tender
Fox signed his exclusive-rights tender with Detroit on Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
The move could be a precursor to a more lucrative long-term deal for the 2020 Pro Bowl punter and former quarterback. Given his ability to handle kickoffs and throw passes on fake plays, Fox may have a case to surpass Jake Bailey as the highest-paid punter in the league.
