Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Lands on IR, done for season
The Raiders placed Crosby (knee) on the injured reserve Saturday.
Crosby left Raiders facilities Friday after expressing displeasure upon learning he had been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Giants, per Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. Following his placement on IR, Crosby will now be sidelined for Week 18 against the Chiefs as well. The edge rusher will thus wrap up the 2025 campaign with 73 total tackles, 10.0 sacks, six passes defensed, one interception and two forced fumbles across 15 appearances. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Crosby is expected to require offseason surgery to address his left knee injury, but he should be back to full health for training camp.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Forced to sit out
Crosby (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants.
Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports that Crosby left the team facility after hearing of the final decision. It is no surprise the defensive end was unhappy with the result, as he stated earlier in the week that he doesn't care about the Raiders securing the No. 1 overall draft pick, saying, "I don't play for that". If this is to be the end of Crosby's season, the 28-year-old will finish with 73 tackles (45 solo), including 10.0 sacks, and six passes defensed (including two interceptions) through 15 games.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Won't play Sunday
Crosby (knee) was informed that he'll be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Crosby suffered a knee injury in Week 4 against the Bears that he has been playing through all season. Since acquiring the injury, the defensive end has logged six games with a 100 percent defensive snap rate and has dodged an injury designation nearly every week. It may not be a coincidence that the 28-year-old's health is being preserved during a matchup that could determine the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, as the 2-13 Raiders are set to take on the 2-13 Giants.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Crosby (knee) didn't participate in Las Vegas' practice Wednesday.
Crosby continues to battle the knee injury that he's been playing through over the past several weeks. The 28-year-old should thus be good to go for Sunday's matchup against the Giants, where he'll look to help slow down an offense that passed for just 33 yards last week versus the Vikings.

Crosby was unable to extend his sack streak to four games Sunday, but he was responsible for two of the Raiders' six TFLs in the loss. The veteran pass rusher has played every defensive snap in each of the last five games and is up to 73 tackles (45 solo), including 28 tackles for a loss and 10.0 sacks, six pass defenses (one interception) and two forced fumbles through 15 regular-season games.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Ready for Sunday
Crosby (knee) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans.
Crosby was able to upgrade to a full participant in Friday's practice, just in time to clear him of any injury designation ahead of Sunday's contest. The defensive end has not missed a game yet this season, and his healthy status implies that that streak will not end Sunday. Crosby will look to add to his 10.0 sacks total this week as he lines up against Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Set for Sunday
Crosby (knee) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Crosby upgraded his practice participation throughout the week, culminating in a full practice Friday that cleared him of any injury designation for Sunday's game. The premier pass rusher has not missed a game all season, and that will not stop in Week 15, when the 28-year-old will likely log his fourth straight game of a 100 percent defensive snap share.

Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Upgrades to limited Thursday
Crosby (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
Crosby was able to play through his knee injury in last Sunday's loss to the Broncos. The premier pass rusher did not practice due to the injury Wednesday, but his return in a limited capacity Thursday signals he's trending up for Sunday's game against the Eagles. While Crosby will likely play Sunday regardless of practice status, full participation Friday would clear him of an injury designation.
